This fondue set is perfect for get togethers. It comes with 8 forks - enough for everyone. Clean up is a snap and the entire base can be submerged. So far, the heating is uniform across the pot.

When I'm in the Kitchen, I become: Cooking Enthusiast
I had never made fondue as I was always wary of the little burners you have to use. Then I saw the electric fondue set by Cuisinart and ordered one.
To me and my family's delight I made a perfect cheese fondue the first time I used it! The pot is very easy to use and looks nice too on the table. Comes with plentiful little forks that are color coded so each one will know which one is theirs.
The instruction booklet is very helpful and gives great recipes. Will try the chocolate fondue next! YUM!

This pot is not only good for fondue it's also great for heating up dips and keeping them at low temperatures during parties. I've used it for soups too. I love that it is electric. I don't have to worry about a flame. The nonstick surface is easy to clean. It's been an excellenct addition to my kitchen and an appliance I look forward to using.

I was really excited to receive this as a gift. I only used it a few times. The reasons? 1. difficult to clean. Since the top and bowl are not detachable from the base, it's hard to clean. 2. it's got an annoying plug that is not only too short, but presents a risky problem when guests are trying to navigate the table. Too bad! Other than that, it evenly heats the product, the forks fit nicely in the grooves and it's attractive.

Fondue is the perfect slow meal that gives time for visiting with guests. This pot is pretty, accurate in temp control, and easy to clean up. Perfect.
