Decent for the Price! March 22, 2008
erlisha from Colorado Springs

"For the price it works great! The only problem I found was it did not get the ground as fine as I would have liked for espresso, but for the price I really don't expect it to! If you are using a drip machine this is Awesome!"

Good For What I Need It January 9, 2008
lilred97 from Poughkeepsie, NY

"I have not had any problems with this grinder... and I looked high and low for one before I made a purchase.
I did see other reviewers mention a clean dry paint or pastry brush to help get the grounds out of the grind container. I Am not sure if mine is as loud as others... I grind on a weekly basis, not on a daily...
Also, I only really use the extra fine setting... Does it get the grounds AS fine as I would like... no... but I dont think that any grinder will do that..."

A good value October 22, 2007
PatL from Atlanta GA

"You can spend a lot more -- but I think this does a good job for the price. I have the KitchenAid Pro coffee maker -- and that is more important that the grinder (I think) for making a great cup of coffee;"

Good little grinder October 19, 2007
Kiddo51 from Northern New Jersey

"This grinder is a good all-purpose grinder, and I haven't had problems with uneven grinds as did a previous reviewer. The only objection I have to this product is the noise level when running. Other than that, I'd say go ahead and buy the product - just be prepared for the loud sound while operating."

Not so great October 19, 2007
ChefLB

"Noisy and messy. Static electricity is created in the plastic grind collector so it's hard to get the ground coffee out without creating a mess. I do not recommend this product."

Worst Kitchen gadget I own October 7, 2007
Tucson from Tucson, AZ

"I recently purchased this item as I like Cuisinart products and its quality. This product is a nightmare. It does not grind coffee at the specified grind, i.e. find grind comes out larger than sugar crystals, more like the size of couscous particles. When I remove the ground coffee container from the machine, it spews coffee grinds in all directions. More trouble than it is worth - even at a decent price. I am not in the process of begging cuisinart to take it back and allow me to purchase some other piece of equipment as this thing will go in the garbage very soon."

Great for the Price. October 5, 2007
Darkshin from Siloam Springs, AR

"This model is nice and it does a much better job than the run of the mill bean smasher. It also has a good range of adjustment. The only thing it could do a better job of is coarse ground. If your grinding for a French press I would recommend getting a conical burr grinder otherwise I highly recommend it."

Excellent machine October 5, 2007
Rockpounder from Tucson, AZ

"Grain size distribution in ground coffee is very good at all size settings. The only down side to this machine is that it is not very quiet."
