I bought this sauce pan specifically for cooking 2 servings of oatmeal or Cream of Wheat for breakfast. The pan I used previously was enameled cast iron, which was slow to heat up and hard to clean, as there was always burned-on residue in the pan. This pan is lightweight, heats up fast and the cast stainless steel handle stays cool. The cereal cooks evenly and nothing sticks to the very slick inside surface of the pan, so it's a snap to rinse it out and clean it up. I'm very happy with it and would recommend it highly.

Just made my friends' favorite gift--my cashew crunch! Have gone through many pans for many years making this candy. Wish I had this saucepan 15 years ago when I first started making this candy. My life is so simplified. Will devote this pan for many years to making cashew crunch!

This pan replaces one of similar size. It washes up
wonderfully, (no dishwasher). I actually heats up faster and more evenly then the one I threw away. I will buy more of the same style as I replace my pans.

I purchased this sauce pan specifically to make grits and country porridge. It heats almost instantly and can be turned down to let the contents simmer until it is done. This takes approximately 30 minutes. Usually it would stick and scorch, but not with Cuisinart. It simmered until it was nice and thick, with only occasional stirring. It was just perfect and I look forward to using this pan again and again.

I could not find a 1.5 qt. pan to replace my poor old one for anything! It was looking like i would have to buy a whole set for just one pan and that was not an option! My husband went on line in frantic search for me and found this pan on Chefs Catalog site! The price was right, the shipping was free, it arrived fast and in excellent condition and i just love it! It is well made by a reputable company and all though it looks like it would be heavy, it's not! Highly recommend this product and this company! They have so much wonderful stuff at great prices i will never shop anywhere else! Thank you Chef's!
P.S.- Seriously thinking of buying a complete set! Working on wearing out older pans now! :-)

Overall a great product for the price. I have the same product in other sizes and have found that they are quite durable, provided you use wooden utensils to prevent scratching the non-stick surface and don't wash too frequently in the dishwasher.

I was in need of a saucepan small enough for single servings (ex. soup, oatmeal, etc.) and found the Cuisinart non-stick 1.5qt saucepan. I absolutely love this little saucepan! I made oatmeal for the first time and it didn't stick at all. So simple to wash. And it's a perfect size when cooking for one. Love it!

I love Cusinart's hard-anodized pans, I have the entire set! Two things to remember, only use plastic mixing spoons on the pans, metal will scratch the bottoms and remove the coating. These are so east to care for, avoid placing them in the dishwasher, it will de-color your finish on the outside of your pans. Wonderful product!

I recently purchased a Cuisinart Hard-Anodized Sauce Pan
from CHEFS and I couldn't be happier with the choice I made!
I had been looking for a 1.5 quart size (not so easy to find!)
I had looked in four different stores, but no luck! Many stores
only sold whole sets of cookware, which I did not need. I
should have looked on-line at CHEFS; it would have saved
me a lot of time! But I know exactly where to look next time;
CHEFS has it all and at great prices, too! Plus, the service
was very prompt!
I really enjoy using my new sauce pan. It heats evenly, the
glass lid is tight-fitting and best of all, it's so easy to clean!
