This a replacement of an older model;same brand I thought I had lost in a recent move. That model was 20 yrs. old. It has been found. I plan to keep both as the knives are excellent and have multiple uses besides boning. Ex. Carving small roasts,ripe tomatoes,fruits and vegetables. This is especially useful in a small work area.
