If used as directed (always well greased) it works as advertized. Just remember to add a little more cooking time if recipe cooking time is not for this kind of skillet.

Smaller than I expected. Even though it said it was pre-seasoned and I used cooking spray, the cornbread stuck to the sides. It was hard to clean.
Pros: Appearance/ Design /Style
Cons: Capacity, Difficult to Clean/Wash, Difficult to use, size

Perfect Slices Every Time

For those that like crispy edges on cornbread ... you will be in love with this pan. There are crispy edges all the way around on each slice of cornbread. Bread quicks uniformly and quickly. My only suggestion is to make the pan just a little bigger, but on second thought maybe not ... because when I made my first pan of cornbread with this pan I ate almost every slice.

Love my cornbread pan!!! Nice even servings everytime! If I wasn't old, maybe the pan wouldn't feel so heavy, but what can I expect, it's an iron skillet! Nice and cured, ah life made simple, gotta love it!

This skillet is wonderful just like all Lodge product and the price is wonderful. But you can only use it for one thing.
and especially when it is preseasoned! I use this when I make corn bread and it would be great for any kind of muffin or biscuit! I gave it four stars only because you really need to grease the pan quite a bit for things to "POP" out of the pre-sectioned slots. Other than that minor problem, it is a great piece to have in the kitchen for perfect sized bread products.
