I purchased this for my daughter for Christmas. It was on back order for 3 months, but when I finally received it I was very pleased. I had looked at a set at Bed, Bath and Beyond but they were poorly made and very thin material. I ordered these on line and the quality is exceptional. My daughter only needed three and this fit perfectly. I think that the items in this catalog are of high quality and a good value for the money.

I LOVE this canister set....after losing a battle over my mom's set from the 60's, I never thought I would ever find anything that was as good of quality and smart looking... When I found this set I knew my search was over! Tight fitting lids keeps the ants out and take the man-handling from my son who also helps in the kitchen.
In the kitchen, I'm never without: My kitchenaide mixer.

I love the beautiful look of this set. The capacity is great and the lids fit tightly. I little too tight but better tight than loose. I am very pleased with them.

These are well made, heavy, seal well, lots of room and look great on the counter. I'd recommend them to anyone and since they are All-Clad, you know they are the best!

The set looks fantastic on my new counter tops and with my stainless appliances. I love the capacity! They clean up nicely and I just love the look. I was worried about the seals being tight, but not as bad as I thought. I will take others advice on improving that but I wanted something that would seal tight. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a sleek up to date look to complete their kitchen.

This Stainless All-Clad Canister Set is wonderful.
They are sizeable enough to hold large bags of flour, sugar and brown sugar, with room to spare. The seals are tight, insuring freshness.
They are of outstanding quality, and are appealing to the eye.
I conducted an extensive search for a new set of quality canister's, and these met all my criteria. I know I'll never need another set!
The best part is that Chef's had the lowest price on the web!

I had searched every where for some stainless steel canisters big enough for what I wanted. I had bought several sets online only to find out they were very small and worthless. I took a chance with the price hoping for the best and was I shocked. These are great, they look beautiful and hold alot. Only downfall is the seal is way too tight I had to trim it up some just to be able to get the lids on and off.

Looked around a great deal before I bought this set. I think they are great---larger capacity than most on the market, heavy construction and durable lids. I agree with other reviewers, the seals are a little tight, but I like that---keeps everything out. Looks great, too, with the stainless steel appliances in my kitchen. Love the set!

I used to use cookie tins for storing sugar and flour, until I came out one morning to see a line of ants disappearing under the sugar tin lid. Those little guys were six deep inside there!
That's not going to happen with these. The steel-edged glass lids have a ridged silicone seal built in. Push the lids down on the canisters hard enough and you might need a butter knife to pry them off again. The large one holds a five-pound sack of flour with lots of room to spare, and the medium size holds a five-pound sack of sugar comfortably. Definitely air tight, water tight, ant-tight!

These do the job, with a sort of industrial appearance. The logo is a mild distraction, as I would prefer a way to label for contents, even though you can look inside.

These are attractive, spacious canisters. The lids are VERY tight, which might be considered a pro by some for well-sealed storage, however a con by others having difficulty opening them. After using mine for a few months I'm glad I was not dissuaded from keeping this purchase. The tightest lids I have learned to open by gripping the nice open handle and easing the lid up at a slight tilt toward me to break the air suction. I like the construction of these canisters and the ability to keep track of the remaining quantity of the contents due to glass lids.

These are beautiful on the countertop. The air tight seal works really well - sometimes it's a bit difficult for me to take off the lid, but I'd prefer it that way rather than not being sealed.
I had to put felt stickers on the bottom of the canisters because when I slid them across our granite countertops, it scratched the granite. After I put the little round felt stickers on the bottom, no more scratched granite!

I've had these canisters for almost 2 years. I use the large one for flour, the medium one for sugar, and the small one for brown sugar. You can fit an entire bag of flour and sugar in the two larger canisters. The seal is very good, yet the lids are easy to remove. They are also so beautiful on the counter (must be wiped frequently though)!
