"I, like many of you, purchased K-mart Skillets in the past,they would last a few years. They only got hot where the heat strips are, so you literally cook with about one tenth of the skillet area. This Skillet is similar to my All-Clad cookware in its weight and feel, very good quality. It has much better heat distribution because the Heat wires are imbedded in an aluminum heat plate. you can actually cook on the entire surface of the skillet. I gave ALL my much lesser quality skillets to our neighborhood center. This Item is worth the extra money you will spend. You will enjoy cooking with this every time you use it. P.S. I gave this to my wife for Christmas last year, it still looks brand new. pretty romantic, I know. I don't know how I will top it this year. Tom"

"I've never been one for cooking with electric skillets, but this one changed my mind. I use it a couple of times a week. Perfect for dishes where everything is cooked in one pan. Made a terrific shrimp scampi in it recently. Non-stick is great. Heats up quick, and temp lowers quick when you need to. I also like it because it is deep, so nothing spills out when you stir or flip. Worth every penny!"

"In our 44 plus years of married life, I've never paid this much for an electric skillet.....and I've never regretted a purchase less!! This is left on the counter because if it's stylish look and also because it is used at least once a day and often at every meal. It cleans with a swipe of a damp towel in most cases. I can't extol its virtues enough. If something were to happen to it, I would replace it in a heartbeat. I've popped popcorn in it, cooked a complete breakfast including the toast, heated leftovers, done spagetti sauce and on and on. It is a large capacity cooker that will quickly ease it's way into your life."

"Poured oil for first use and all the oil ended up in a 2 inch ring on the periphery. Definitely not level, leading to uneven cooking! Returning immediately!"

"what a wonderful addition to my kitchen. I only have 4 small burners and often lots of people to feed. This electric skillet is a perfect additional burner. It heats up very quickly and cooks nice and evenly - no burning! It's also very easy to clean. It looks so nice it is even easy to serve from. I would buy another of these any day!"

"I've owned many electric skillet in my life time, this has been the best one so far. I'm amazed at how easy it is to clean up after cooking . I've used it for browning, and have made many one dish cassaroles. It's almost like a crock pot but shaped like a skillet. The warming cycle is perfect for foods that have been cooked and you would like to keep them warm for hours. I would definately recommend this product to my friends and family. It is worth the price!"

"This skillet was bought primarily for having a controlled-heat surface to make pancakes. The high sides and oval shape make flipping the pancakes a bit awkward, but I enjoy the even heat and easy cleanup. It also served as an extra burner for Thanksgiving, and browned mushrooms beautifully."

"I have cooked on many types of pots and pans in my life time from electrics, aluminum, stainless to cast iron. So when my old electric fryer died I found the Cuisinart electric skillet in your catalog. What a great choice. The skillet surpasses my expectations. It cooks everything you throw at it to perfection. Especialy fried chicken. It is also very easy to clean, most times with just a paper towel. And talk about stylish....this skillet does not get shoved in some cabinet between uses. It is the centerpiece of my counter top for everyone to see and admire. Would I recommend this skillet......you bet I would."

"After 20 years I had to replace my old Farberware electric skillet - which for it's time was rather expensive (compared to others then on the market) as I recall - maybe close to $50. It served us well over the years, but finally wore out. After much researching online I decided to go with this Cuisinart Electric Skillet. A Christmas present to myself - and what a fantastic present it is! First of all, regular shipping was amazing from Chef's. It seemed to arrive almost overnight. I unpacked it and used it right away to brown 3 pounds of Italian sausage - all at once. This is a big skillet! The heat was evenly distributed (much better than my Farberware ever did) and clean up was a breeze. I did not put it in the dishwasher because I fear discoloration to the stainless finish. But truthfully, there is no need to use the dishwasher as it took me about 90 seconds to wash it by hand. Absolutely a great product and well worth the money!"

"I had not cooked with an electric skillet for probably 30 years, but fell in love with this one in the catalogue. I was pleased with the purchase price and use it several times a week.
