Great for family breakfast! April 8, 2008
Salemcook from Salem, UT

"Our family loves waffles, but I used to not like how long it would take to make enough for everyone. This waffle maker takes care of that problem. I can serve up waffles as quickly as I can make pancakes now. I like the beep it does when the waffles are ready so I don't over or undercook anything. I also like how the cord can wind up underneath for storage. You do need to be somewhat careful to remember to only touch the black part of the handle because the metal gets pretty hot. Other than that I can't say anything negative about it. We have enjoyed this waffle maker very much."

"The family loves waffles. This is a must families with children. Can fix 6 at a time and get them fed at the same time. Also, very easy to clean and operate. This comes out during many sleepovers."

Not as good as it looks February 10, 2008
mountainmama from draper, VA

"I was highly disappointed with this waffle maker and I am waiting to see if I can return it. It heats unevenly so that top is raw when bottom is done. At the medium setting of 3, my waffles never get browned. Grids cannot be removed for cleaning as in my older waffle iron which I will now cherish since it works better although it is 30 years old and about half the size.

Also be careful of recipe estimates for numbers of waffles. Although this grill has 6 compartments, they are small and most recipes seem to assume a larger waffle. This is even true for recipes that come with the griddle. I made a recipe for 16 waffles where I was assuming 3 batches on this maker. It turned out to yield about 8 batches on this maker so that my husband and I were eating waffles for days.

I bought because with the birth of a baby recently I now have 3 grandchildren and 6 children/spouses. I was afraid that my 30 year old waffle iron would be just too slow for the entire crowd. I now realize the old maker makes two larger waffles and it will be easier to cut them up for firsts that to struggle with this machine that does not cook well and is harder to clean."

works good but don`t believe the catalog January 26, 2008
koko from michigan

"The waffle maker works very good but the features that the catalog says it comes with aren`t there. There is no locking lid and it can`t be stored vertically as the lid flops open.Maybe the older models had these features but I recently received mine and it doesn`t have these.I think it is still a great buy I just thought people should know."

Really Good but not great.. January 22, 2008
RACLAPP from Central Ohio, USA

"Good instead of Great, Why? The iron is a breeze to clean on the outside. It is Stainless steel, but you will swear there is a nonstick coating on it except for two places: the grooves at the bottom are a bit of a pain at times and the dial area is also a bit of a pain to clean. I've also had just a bit of sticking to the non-stick interior when removing items, and it happened with different batters.

The great, is the capacity, the looks ( I wish I had a sportscar with those nice of curves), it heats quickly and little hands helping "Daddy" don't get burned when they touch the outer case by accident. It never gets beyond a lukewarm outer case, even after making enough for a family of six.

The only real issue I have is with the beeper, it is supposed to beep when cooking is finished. Don't trust it, until you have used your machine a few times. Mine is off by about a minute, at setting three. Would I buy it again? Yes."

Great Addition November 30, 2007
Sally from Chenango Forks NY

"The Cuisinart Waffle Maker is a great addition to our kitchen appliances. It is easy to clean up.
We are also able to control what we goes into the waffle batter no artifical additives.
Even the left over waffles are better than any commerical products on the market .
We are looking forward to many tastey breakfasts."

Ultimate waffle iron November 16, 2007
DeeDeecooks from Fayetteville, Arkansas

"Now, each of my four children can have the "first waffle"... I have been looking for a product like this for a long time, that makes a lot at a time, and that makes thin, crispy (not Belgian) waffles. It cleans up nicely, is very sturdy and comes with a good warranty, as well as a recipe booklet that has some unusual, but appealing recipes I would like to try. It is well worth the price--this is a serious waffle iron!"

IF you love waffles-- this is for you October 22, 2007
PatL from Atlanta GA

"I love waffles and I love this waffle maker. I can make for a crowd over the holidays or can easily make just 3 or 4 . Easy to clean. I have no problems cleaning it because the waffles don't stick. Also, have used with french toast.

Stores easily --- it stands upright which saves a lot of room."
