Solid Performer October 11, 2007

"This has been a nice little waffle maker at a very reasonable price. Once it comes up to temperature and you cook the first waffle, adjusting lighter or darker is very easy to do. It cleans up nicely. One spray of vegetable oil or pam prior to the initial waffle is all that's needed. Additional waffles generally do not need any more lubricant. The only drawback is that the metal stays too hot to touch or clean for about 30-45 minutes after it's turned off."

"I have had this waffle iron for 4 to 5 years and use it all the time. Spray with pam before making the first waffle and you will have no trouble removing them. It takes only a few minutes to make each waffle and stores in a small space. I clean mine with a stiff brush after it has cooled. Perfect for small families. Store leftover waffles in a plastic bag in the frig - much better than store bought waffles."

"I purchased this waffle maker becasue it is easy to use, takes up little space and was reasonably priced. We do not make waffles more than a few times a year - when our granddaughter is visiting so it seemed ideal. It worked well and was easy to clean. However, after a year and a half it stopped working - at all. The warranty is only for a year so that was that - not worth it."

poor outer design October 19, 2007
candi from Canaan, Maine

"I actually love the size and making of the waffle in this maker. But the clean up is a nightmare. It has creases on the bottom front and the fashionable side panels have a deep crease also. So any overflow is really very hard to clean up. Where if designed with a nice flat surface right to the bottom you could just wipe up with a cloth. You actually have to have a tooth pick or something sharp to get into the creases after an overflow. My grandchildren love the waffels but I hate the clean up, so 3 stars for cuisinart round waffel maker WAF_R."
