A Great Set! March 20, 2008
SouthernBelleChef from Atlanta, GA

"I really have enjoyed these storage containers. I have always stored my potatoes and onions together in a large open basket in our kitchen, and was frustrated with how quickly they were spoiling. I was so pleased to have found these containers and instantly purchased them. Not only do they keep my onions and potatoes fresher, but they look great in my country French kitchen. My only surprise with them was discovering how large the potato container is - it is definitely a larger size than the other three, but certainly holds a good amount of potatoes!"

So, so sad June 2, 2008
Snickery from Chicago, Ill

"I was incredibly disappointed in these containers. I'm someone who cooks a lot of different kinds of dishes so I don't go through potatoes or onions quickly at all. And to my great sadness the potatoes sprouted a lot. My onions sprouted a bit too and that container did not hold a full, small bag of onions.

I suspect that since the inside is glazed moisture is not adequately absorbed. My unglazed, inexpensive garlic holder does a significantly better job at correct storage.

So if you're looking for something decorative or if you go through these veggies quickly you might be okay. Otherwise, save your money."

Buy all three! November 11, 2007
Crusty from West Palm Beach, FL

"After years of throwing away rotten onions and potatoes because I couldn't use them fast enough, I learned that onions and potatoes can't be stored together. Placing them in two separate kitchen drawers was inconvienient and took up a lot of space. Then Chef's offered these pottery containers. I bought the set and could not be happier. The only drawback is that the onion container is a wee bit smaller than I would like it to be. It would be better if it were the same size as the potatoe container. I use a lot of garlic and can't imagine ever filling this one, so it is bigger than necessary. These keep my pantry clean and orderly, there has been no lost food since buying them and they are well priced. Highly recommended."
