When I'm in the Kitchen, I become: Cooking Enthusiast
Enameled cast iron is one of my favorite pan and skillet materials for its ability to provide even, slow heat for simmering and then to carry that same even heat into high-heat searing for pan broiling.
This 9-inch skillet is just the right size for frying four eggs or making hashbrowns or pan broiling two boneless rib eye steaks. As a small pan, it is not too heavy to move around easily. As a lined cast iron pan, there is no problem in making a pan sauce with the 'fond' in the bottom of the pan and clean up is also easy.
In a smaller household, this is a 'go-to' skillet and it has been a 'must-have' for me. There is a nice range of choice in picking a color: my kitchen calls for 'fennel.'
Pros: easy to use, even cooking, Heat distribution, durability, capacity, Easy to Clean/Wash, Value for Money, Appearance/ Design /Style, Heat retention, easy to store
I absolutely love this frying pan! I have four other Le Creuset Pots in various sizes and though quite expensive they are well worth the price.Everything I cook always comes out fantastic. That is the reason I finally splurged and bought the frying pan .It came up to all my expectations and I am so happy I did.It washes up like a dream! Thank's again to Le Creuset for such a great line of products!Even omelets are so easy now!

I have had mine for over a year now. No scratches. Le Creuset even tells you how to take care of it. The price is totally worth it for such quality. I guarantee I will be buying my daughters Le Creuset when they are on their own! This is smaller and is perfect for everyday meals.
Pros: Appearance/ Design /Style, capacity, construction, durability, Easy to Clean/Wash, easy to store, even cooking, Heat distribution, Heat retention, Long-lasting, Performs Well, quality, True to Color, Value for Money, Variety of Colors
A very useful size in a great cookware. It allows even heat, very easy clean-up. Good for cooking for one or a few people. Attractive for serving. Will last a lifetime or more.

non stick not durable

I was disappointed that the non-stick surface became scratched and unuseable in less than 1 year, despite using proper utensils and storage.
I love Le Creuset, and I'm spoiled to have two outlets within driving distance, as well as Chef's to aid my purchasing habit. I bought my first Le Creuset skillet while in graduate school 6 years ago, and there are still no nicks, scratches, and everything I put in it turns out wonderfully. My only problem is I had to work up my forearm muscles to be able to flip anything, the cast iron is sooo heavy.
I wouldn't trade it though, no way. I just wish they still made the sunshine yellow finish.
