I love to make soups in the winter, but what a hassle pulling out the blender everytime I wanted to make a creamy soup. The Suisinart SmartStick Hand Blender makes it much easier.

I have had one for a number of years, and my daughter just ask for one like it for christmas. It works wonderfully and I love the fact that it comes apart and everything but the motor can go in the dishwasher. Also when one of the chopper parts finially gave out I could just order that piece from the manufacturer. It is the best thing for blending soups. You don't have to transfer hot liquid to a blender and back. Just stick the blender in the pot.

I bought this item as a gift for my spouse - couldn't be more delighted. It is not heavy and works great with little effort! I would like the freedom of cordless use - but overall - still highly recommend.

I love to cook and this was one of the gifts from my hubby. I absolutely LOVE it! I lost 50# 3 years ago and try to keep it off w/ lots of low-cal soups and beverages. I love how it blends for my favorite zero calorie soup, my tomato florentine, and creaming sauces for my favorite pasta dishes! Easy clean-up, easy use, no extra dishes to clean, less chopping, less time............. This is a must have!!!! Been cooking for 40 years and I'm telling you this is at the top of my list of favorites,

I actually wanted to buy the cheaper model of this, but it was out, so I settled for this one. I thought the attachments were kind of intimidating, but I've used the wand and the little food processor attachment thingy with much success. I've been using it for everything from morning smoothies to homemade lotion to soups.
