This dish is simply excellent. You can bake in it, roast, slow cook, gratin, etc. Then when your dish id ready, you can take it out of the oven and onto the table. No need to move your dish into a serving dish, since it looks great too. At the end of dinner it is easy to clean. What else can one ask from a cooking dish?

Every holiday brunch baked cheese grits is on the menu, with a minimum baking time of 75 minutes, sometimes as much as 90 minutes. This year, I used my new Le Creuset oval stoneware dish. The grits took 45 minutes in all, set up quickly and had the micro-thin crispy top we love. As the recipe and oven hadn't changed, I can only attribute this to the stoneware. Besides cutting my time in half, the dish was beautiful enough to go from oven to table, removing the need for another serving dish. I popped the empty dish into the dishwasher, and it was ready to use again. This may be the most versatile and useful bakeware I've ever bought.

Not only does this baking dish roast beautifully (chicken, potatoes and carrots being my favorite), I absolutely love that it's large enough to serve the meal beautifully in one dish! Roasting, and serving the chicken and veggies in one baking dish saves me time and space.

This is a great piece at a great price. This is another high quality Le Creuset item that I use quite often for baking and serving items such as macaroni and cheese and stuffing. It goes directly from the oven to the table and as always with Le Creuset products, is a breeze to clean.

The Cobalt color and lovely shape is a beautiful addition to the table. The stoneware is very durable and holds /transfers heat fantastically.

All the Le Creuset stoneware dishes are absolutely the best ever created. Everything we cook, bake or roast in all of our Le Creuset dishes, whether it’s the square, oblong or oval dish cooks to perfection. They look lovely on the dinner table and the clean up is a wiz. I highly recommend all Le Creuset products to anyone.

This Le Creuset oval dish is one of the most versatile stoneware dishes I own. It is the perfect dish for casseroles and desserts, but it is also perfect for heating leftovers. Foods seem to heat, brown, and bake more evenly than with any other pan I have ever used. And the cleaning is the easiest, too. Even the most baked on (burnt?) cheese wipes off with ease. I would highly recommend to this anyone.
