Great food processor January 22, 2008
TagCook from Pittsburgh, PA

"I LOVE that small bowl to do those small jobs. And the juicer is great. I juiced oranges very quickly. And the case for the tools is great for storage too."

Best food processor ever used January 24, 2009
Rumppster from Atlanta, GA

Pros: very powerful, wide range of uses
Cons: somewhat heavy

"This is probably the most versatile & powerful food processor I have ever used. The heavy duty motor cuts through the toughest foods like they were butter. The smaller bowel insert is very handy for a quick small job & works without requiring cleaning of all the other parts. The juicer is really a great addition & the extra tools gives this processor great versatilely for different types of food cuts."

disappointment January 8, 2009
juicyfruit from atlanta,Ga

Pros: it does a great job processing
Cons: they need to fix the problem with the bowl removal

"I was somewhat disappointed with this processor. I expected great performance from it because of the it being a Kitchenaid product but from the get go I had a problem removing the bowl from the stand without taking out the blade. With other food processors you twist and lift, and bowl and blade comes off together but with this kitchenaid processor, you twist then you remove the blade then the bowl."

Excellent versatile product January 8, 2009
CakeQueen from Thomasville, NC

Pros: best food processor ever
Cons: no cons i can think of

"This food processor is so quiet and does everything you could ever ask a processor to do! I love the different size bowls for mulit-tasking. Very versatile, extremely quiet, best helper in the kitchen! I love it. It was a gift from my hubby for Christmas and I must say, he really did his homework on this and got me a great machine!"

It's a keeper! January 8, 2009
MindCooker from Breinigsville, PA

"I find the KitchenAid 12 cup pro to be a very useful and reliable tool for my kitchen. Cooking for 2 or 22, I get a ton of use from this processor. The smaller work bowl is great for little jobs and I don’t understand why some don’t like this feature unless they are always doing big jobs! I have used the small bowl to chop small amounts of veggies for chicken and tuna salads, graham crackers for cheese cake crusts, and I appreciate that you don’t have to use the larger work bowl for small jobs. Cleaning is a snap, and the accessory storage box keeps things together. This unit has the power for the big jobs and versatile enough to handle the small jobs. For me it’s a keeper!"

First Food Processor January 8, 2009
Oliver4AU from Hoover, AL

Pros: multiple bowls, very good assortment of attachments, plenty of power
Cons: none found

"This is my first food processor and I don't believe I could have made a better choice. With two kids in college, we can go from "Empty Nesters" to a house full at any time, so the multiple bowl sizes are great. I'm still in a learning curve with it, but so far, the versatility of this processor is making it easy and making me wonder why I didn't get one years ago."

Necessary addition to every kitchen March 21, 2008
cupcakechef from Chicago, IL

"What would one do without a food processor that does the job of many in one appliance. This food processor is enjoyable to use, and has just about every blade for any cooking endeavor. The accompanying case is useful for storage. A little expensive, but overall very happy with this KitchenAid applicance."

Works great, but... October 19, 2007
subeast from Hercules, CA

"I love the weight of this processor. It sits tight on the counter and can really chop the heck out of anything. It cleans up better than my old Cuisinart did, since it hasn't got so many parts. The food tube is well sized. That said, the mini bowl is almost useless and the blade for this small bowl stores in the processor itself, so you always have to remove it to get to the useful bowl and have to get into the attachments box to get the big blade. This is not, in itself so bad, but the attachments box has no hinges. just an awkward-to-fit lid that ticks me off every time I get into it (every time)."

Solid October 5, 2007
Darkshin from Siloam Springs, AR

"The main unit is solid powerful and gets the job done. The smaller bowl that fits inside the main one for smaller jobs rely on the bigger bowl to keep in place and wastes energy moving around when it should be processing. It becomes one of those extra functions that is pretty much useless. I also wish the container for the attachments would have snapped shut so you could store it wherever without all the attachments spilling out so easily. I gave it 3 stars because the main unit is great but for the price all extras should have been better designed."
