I bought this roasting pan before Christmas after an exhausting time trying to find one localy. It shipped fast, was extremely well packaged. I have already used it twice. It was terrific! Perfect size for Christmas standing rib roast for 12 people. Very sturdy, rack with handles made removing roast easy, cleans up with soap and water, no scrubing! Love it. So well made I suppose my children can fight over it when I am gone. Worth every penney, and more.

Excellent Roasting Pan -- GREAT PRICE!

I had been looking everywhere for a great tri-ply roasting pan that wouldn't cost $200.00 or more. Chef's not only had the best product (comparable to what Williams-Sonoma and other high-end stores carry), but the BEST price and FREE shipping, too.
In addition to the sturdy handles, which allow for easy access in and out of the oven, the bottom rack is the best around, as it fits securely in the bottom of the pan. Similar roasting pans have a v-shaped rack, which means larger items will wobble, potentially leading to burns or spills.
If you're looking for a great roasting pan, buy this one! The non-stick type just aren't as good, in my opinion, and this pan will last you a lifetime!

According to the size of the pan mentioned in the catalog it appeared it would fit in my oven, which I measured before ordering. However, when I received the pan the measurement description hadn't included the handles which made it too large to fit into my oven! It would have been nice if the description was accurate in its measurements. Now I have a beautiful pan that I probably won't be able to use, or else I'll have to use the oven with the door cracked open...

I was looking for a pan for a 30 pound turkey. Although the pan looked great, sturdy....just wasn't big enough and I had to send it back. Therefore I am unable to give a full user rating.

I have not had an opportunity to use the pan yet, but it came triple boxed, and seems very nice, heavy and good quality.
I noticed it came from China, and I was most disturbed, I wouldn't mind paying a bit more for Made in the USA goods, next time.

I purchased this roaster to cook a 20 lb. turkey at Christmas and it did a fantastic job. It held the turkey, no problem, the rack worked well in that it elevated the turkey a little (1") so it wasn't resting in the pan juices but not so high as to cause splattering all over the oven. The pan can be used on the burners to make gravy and it did an excellent job there too... definitely met all my criteria for a good roaster, and the price was right too!

Used this for the first time to roast the Thanksgiving turkey. The vegies thrown into the bottom of the pan cooked and browned wonderfully. Pan transferred perfectly to stove top to make the gravy. I was very pleased with the performance of this roaster. Nice looking too!

My husband and I have been shopping for a new roasting pan with a rack for some time. Most of them have a non stick rack, we have not had good luck with them. This pan and rack is WONDERFUL! No sticking, no hot spots. Easy clean up. I have had 58 years experience. Recommend highly.

Even though this gorgeous pan is too large for our current oven, we look forward to many happy family feasts with it as our centerpiece. I thought I measured correctly (for our current rental home & kitchen), but your (my!?!) new roasting pan just overwhelms. This does it! We are already looking for a new space!
Happy hols,

Beautiful but too big

This is a gorgeous pan, but unfortunately it doesn't fit into my old, small oven! If the handles weren't so wide, it would work, so my husband is going to try and grind them down a bit so the pan will slide easily into the oven. When he started the process, he exclaimed over the excellent quality of the stainless steel on the handles, and the job is going to be much more time consuming that he anticipated! I can't wait to use the pan and certainly don't want to give it up, so he's going to have to persevere.

Can't wait to use this beautiful roasting pan. With the
permanently fixed handles I will never burn myself again trying to get the pan out of the oven. Heavier weight shows it will be very durable and cook a fine roast or turkey. If you want to make your friends jealous of your presentation, put this roster on your wish list.

I was very satisfied with this roasting pan. It is very similar in quality and performance to my All-Clad pans. I compared quality and prices with other pans at big box stores. This was much higher quality and heavier gauge than anything they offered at the same price. I did a standing rib roast for the holidays and it cleaned up easily.
I would have preferred a v-rack for the pan, but the flat rack worked well.

I bought this pan to cook my 19# turkey this year, and it worked out great. The bird fit (with room to spare) and the rack was great to keep the turkey up so the vegs could be under and have the juices be evenly distributed. Heavy duty pan that could be of many uses.

I purchased this roasting pan in time for Thanksgiving as the roaster I owned was too narrow for our turkey. I was so impressed with the Tri-Ply construction. This pan is SOLID--not a featherweight like the ones you find in the big-box stores. I also like the roasting rack. It was very easy to transfer the turkey in and out of the pan. The pan itself is really pretty with an all-over mirrored finish. I ended up with our best turkey ever! I would buy this pan again in a heartbeat--well worth the money!

Needed a new pan for turkey cooking purchases a (throw away pan) under ten dollars last year, this year we looked around stores near our house, and the quality was not there. Went to Chefs Catalog and compared two turkey roasting pans. We purchased this and the pan performed well we cooked two turkeys, one Wednesday and the second on Thanksgiving both times the pan cleaned out great, I like the way the top of the pan just rolled at top easy to clean. Pan with rack worked out well.

Okay Roasting pan

The weight/tri-ply is consistent with what one would expect, and it is a good all around roasting pan. The rack fits well, which helps to keep it from slipping around in the pan.....but, and this is my only 'downside' - It is advertised to be able to tolerate up to 500 degrees oven temp. I roasted a chicken at 475 degrees, and there was a discoloration/hot spot on one quadrant of the pan. I proably would buy a different brand next time, as I don't think the discoloration should appear if the pan is constructed well for even heat distribution..
