Good Performance, but...
March 20, 2008 HeadCheffrom Pearland, TX
"I got this knife because I make multiple briskets at one time and manual cutting....well you know. The knife performed very well. I wish the blade was a little longer, but it cuts through the meat with ease. It is a bit noisy, but not intolerable. I did notice even after one full brisket, the handle is a bit warm."

works well but very noisy
December 2, 2007 mountainmamafrom draper, VA
"I bought this knife because arthritis is making it hared for me to slice crusty breads. The knife works great and the storage board is attractive and useful. however the knife is very loud and since I have to hold down the button to carve, it does not help my arthritis. I will still keep and use regularly but I wish there were a quieter one that did not require me to grasp tightly as i slice. I have not tired with meats yet but it gave me thin and even slices of very crusty, chewy bread."

Perfectly carved turkey
November 24, 2007 delraybuzzfrom Delray Beach, FL
"I surprised my dear spouse with something he insisted he didn't need, and he blessed my foresight as he carved the most beautiful slices of our Thanksgiving Turkey. Excellent balance in the hand, and beautiful on the counter in it's stand that hides its cord, we'll keep this knife in full view for our daily use."

Time To Get Another One
November 13, 2007 Razzfrom Shalimar, FL
"We have been using a Cuisnart electric knife for years. The blade locking mechinism finally developed a problem. It is probably not repairable so we are ordering an identical replacement on the assumption we will get the same quality performance for more years to come."
