It is very easy to use. I have had other scales where tou have to put all kinds of codes in and tare for a container. This one you jusy put the container on the plateform before you turn it on and you are zeroed out. you can add foods in suscession buy just turning the scale off and on. It is a great size and doesn't take up much room on the counter. It is very light weight. Love it.

Poorly made product that did not work out of the box. The clip that holds the battery disappeared into the machine. After retrieval it was impossible to get the clip to hold the battery. Very cheap construction.

I have purchased other small household kitchen scales and have been very disapointed with their functions. They have had unaccurate readings and difficult to operate. This scale is perfect. It instantly records the weight in both ounces and pounds. I am very happy with my purchase and would gladly reccommend it to everyone that is seeking a kitchen scale this size.

I was so excited about purchasing this scale. However, the LCD screen did not work properly, even after obtaining a new battery and installing it. The numbers and letters did not display correctly on the screen--either they showed up as half-numbers or letters, or not at all.
I am returning this scale and have already placed an order for the OXO scale that was also in the catalog. I hope that this new one works.

I have been using this scale for so many different things. I use a paper plate or bowl instead of placing directly on the clear surface (I want it to last forever)! Perfect size and looks great too. I have even been using it for my postage calcuations!!! If it dies I will replace with the exact same scale. I love it!!!!

Love this scale! Sleek and thin - looks beautiful sitting out on the counter for easy access. Very precise - measures down to an 1/8 of an oz and up to 11 lbs. Only possible con is the digital readout could be larger.

This is such an excellent scale. It measures both liquid and dry ingredients and also measures grams. It measures as low as 1/8 of an oz. . This scale is smart looking and compact enough to fit in a drawer. One of the best purchases I ever made. I've had mine for over 10 years. It's a must buy purchase.
Cons: it doesn't s go into 1/3 ozs

I simply love this scale. I have been using it for four years without any problems. It's sensitive enough to weigh even eighths of an ounce and, therefore, is the perfect scale to use to ensure you don't go over the weight limit for a single first-class stamp. It is the best kitchen scale I've ever used to date.

I wanted a digital scale to replace the old one I have been using for, well, forever (it was my grandmother's who used it in 1922 to keep track of her infants' weights). Its sentimental value is high but it's not very accurate. Also, I wanted one that could convert US to metric weights, so this little scale is perfect for me. I appreciate the zero-ing capability and the 11# capacity, making it perfect for postal purposes as well as cooking.
I'll still use Maw's scale for heavy items, but I look forward to using this little gem for everything else for many years to come.

This is a great scale for dieters and portion control. Accurate because you don't have to add a plate to the weight of the portion because the flat surface of the scale balances the weight of the portion.
Also great for weighing packages for postage!

I have had this scale for about two years, and I love it. I use it both for portion control and to follow recipe quantities. You'll be surprised how much you use it when you have it to use. I try not to get anything on the buttons, because that area can be hard to clean. I even used this to weigh my preemie daughter when she came home from the hospital (an adorable picture, too)!

went to website to drool over the Terraillon scale which would be replacing my old Aquatronics scale. Now CHEFS is carrying both, and, OH, I don't know what to do!
I like the Terraillon for it's larger size and the sealed buttons (no goo to clean out of corners and holes), but I do so trust my old Aquatronics - it's been dropped, stepped on, left in the sun, fallen in the dish water , glued back together and just keeps measuring. My only advise would be sealed buttons so I don't have to keep taking toothpicks to it to scrape out old cookie dough. I use this in my catering business and consider it one of my most faithful devices.
