Garlic Press and Slicer : The cut of garlic
influences its flavor. Crush garlic to release more of
its aromatic oils than simply chopping or slicing it.
Minced garlic has a volatile flavor that disperses
quickly. Press garlic for a rich, aromatic paste. Press
or slice garlic in separate nonstick chambers. The
slicing chamber produces eight perfectly thin slices.

We have been using a Zyliss garlic press since they were introduced. The features on yours seemed to go beyond the single function Zyliss and we were pleasantly surprised by the ease of cleanup.
In the kitchen, I'm never without: My Wustoff Classic 6" chef's knife or a good utility towel.
Favorite Brand: Wustoff, Wear-Ever pans, Cuisinart, Sasaki dishes.

I just loved the garlic slicer. Saved oodles of time for me.
Then the pin that holds it together just fell out. I stick it back in and use it but it falls out again.
If I don't lose it, it may end up in my garbage disposal unit. YIKES!

This is the best garlic press I have ever used. It is great that not only does it press the garlic it also slices. I have had many garlic presses in the past, but nothing compares to this one. No home should be without one!

I enjoy using this tool, especially slicer part of it. It makes nice even slices, something which I have not been able to do yet. Depending on the size of the cloves, you may be able to get more then one in the slicer. I put three small ones and it had no problem handling them. Now the hardest part of dealing with garlic is getting the skins off.

I used this three times for garlic. This afternoon, when I used it , it completely broke apart! Pathetic for the money. It is going back....just to let Chefs' know what a piece of junk it is

I slice and saute a lot of garlic for many inherited cajun recipes and even to jive up a meal out of a can.
Slicing garlic cloves is tedious, especially if cloves are small.
Just drop cloves into this little slicer, press, and you got it.
For anyone who uses a lot of fresh garlic like I do, you will love it.

I am 60+ and have used many garlic presses in my lifetime. This one is the worst ever!. It will soon be on its way back to Chefs. The holes are too big; therefore, leaving too much garlic meat still on the skin. Garlic is too expensive to waist. You need a very strong arm or pliers to remove the cleaning tool and that is a deal breaker also. Don't waist your time or your money. This press isn't worth more than $7-$8. Get a better press. I will!

Sliced garlic with ease! I can't believe that no one else has ever thought of this. The garlic press works well but it is the slicer that attracted me. It works so well that I find myself using it all the time. Definitely a keeper!
