Garlic Press and Slicer
Garlic Press and Slicer : The cut of garlic influences its flavor. Crush garlic to release more of its aromatic oils than simply chopping or slicing it. Minced garlic has a volatile flavor that disperses quickly. Press garlic for a rich, aromatic paste. Press or slice garlic in separate nonstick chambers. The slicing chamber produces eight perfectly thin slices. Easy to clean with the help of the custom cleaning tool (included). Dishwasher-safe.

It does what it says. I love a product that does that! Some have said it's difficult to clean, but it has a little doohicky that helps with that, so I don't understand that issue. I mean, ALL garlic presses are difficult to clean. This one does more, so it has its own challenges. But it's no more difficult to clean than others. It has a nice, large capacity, too, unlike others I've tried.
I think this is the last garlic press I'll need for the rest of my life.

This garlic press is a replacement for my old style press, it's so easy to use, hardly and pressure needed to press the garlic. The slicer is a great bonus, I hate to peel and slice garlic, with this press, you just drop the garlic in, press and any remaining peel just slides off. This product would be wonderful for anyone that doesn't have a lot of strength in their hands.

We have been using a Zyliss garlic press since they were introduced. The features on yours seemed to go beyond the single function Zyliss and we were pleasantly surprised by the ease of cleanup.

I only got to press 2 garlic in the slice part when the blade bent out and pieces of metal shavings fell out onto the garlic I was able to slice. So I end up having to throw it away. Now I have to figure out if I can get my money back.

I already had a garlic press...this press works as most do. The custom cleaning tool is a bonus, and I like that it stores in the press, although I clean it separately and I'm hoping I won't lose it before I store it.
Throw away your old garlic press, and buy this just for the slicer...it's wonderful!

I purchased this because I hate slicing garlic. This gadget gives me nice perfect slices on both frozen and fresh garlic cloves. The opening is pretty big, but giant cloves need to be cut in half before placing them in the cutter. The holes in the press part are a little larger than in my other garlic press. This is good when I need some what more coarsely chopped garlic than my other press provides. It is not as easy to clean as I would like, but the included cleaning gadget helps with that. It is bigger than standard presses since it slices as well, so that could be an issue for some people.

I was really excited about getting a garlic slicer with the press, enough so to pay the high price. But I was very disappointed and would like my money back on this one. You usually need to pull or push the garlic out as it doesn't slice all the way through. Takes longer and is more of a mess than just using a paring knife. After 5 tries, I won't be bothering with it again.

The garlic press/slicer did a great job slicing multiple cloves of garlic quickly and evenly. It did take a while to clean all the slots, even with the built-in cleaner.

We cook a lot and many recipes call for sliced garlic, I used to hate having to slice garlic, took so much time! This new garlic press/slicer is fantastic, used it last night and was so happy it only took 3 minutes to slice 12 cloves of garlic!

This gizmo works great and is easy to clean. Many garlic crushers leave a goopy mess, but this one works just as advertised. It also slices cloves well.

This garlic press really does the trick. It's very strong, not as hard as other presses and the slicing part makes nice slices. The only con was that the garlic that was left in the cylinder was a little difficult to get out.

This product does two jobs. Is well worth the money. Is heavy-weight for its size and will not rust. It easily cleans in the dishwasher. And so, if you need only ONE garlic press, this should be the one that you invest in.

Works very well for mincing or slicing garlic. Not too easy to clean thoroughly. I don't usually put it in the dishwasher. Hand washing works better.

I have not used this item. It is a Christmas gift for my daughter-in-law who only uses only the best. She is an awesome cook and knows exactly which utensils are on top. She put the garlic press/slicer on her wish list. Only one found that does both jobs.
