Garlic Press and Slicer : The cut of garlic
influences its flavor. Crush garlic to release more of
its aromatic oils than simply chopping or slicing it.
Minced garlic has a volatile flavor that disperses
quickly. Press garlic for a rich, aromatic paste. Press
or slice garlic in separate nonstick chambers. The
slicing chamber produces eight perfectly thin slices.
Easy to clean with the help of the custom cleaning tool
(included). Dishwasher-safe.

FANTASTICO!
April 17, 2008 creativemediumfrom Colorado Springs
"I already had a garlic press that I THOUGHT was great. This press is more impressive than any other press I've EVER used. It's so EASY to press - like a hot knife through butter. It's even easier to clean with the attached plastic cleaner/scraper. Previously, I would NEVER slice garlic. Now I do! I'm tossing that other garlic press........Again, this is FANTASTICO!"

"Remember the guy who said, "What if we took the bread and sliced it?" Well, whoever invented this gadget should be in the cook's hall of fame. I've purchased many a gadget in my time, some good, some terrible. This one rocks!! If you use a lot of garlic, you MUST purchase this tool. It chops or slices like a dream and cleans up very easily. You just put the peeled clove in one of the little compartments and squeeze. I've recommended this to many friends and they all just love it. If you have to purchase one kitchen gadget--this is it. Too bad I can only give it 5 stars."

Got a bum one

"This Garlic press looks nice with the powder coat finish, cleans pretty easily with the cleaner piece. The area that is used to press or slice the garlic is a second piece inset into the body. The problem with that is that if you get one where it isn’t lined up right, like the one I got, it catches on the grove on the inside and you have to push the plunger up with your finger while pressing so it won’t just get caught. Judging by other reviews most other people haven’t had this problem, but I wonder if it could happen over time as well."

Must have for garlic lovers

"Nice to have the press and slicer on the same tool. The slices are nice and even, and a good thickness so you can saute them easily without burning them. Cleans pretty easily too with the accompanying tool. A little advice though, rinse if after you use it otherwise bits of garlic will dry out in the holes or in the slicer section and it does get a little annoying to pick out."

Easy to use and easy to clean!
March 20, 2008 Andiefrom Baton Rouge, LA
"As garlic presses go, this model is typical for crushing, but for slicing garlic, it is phenominal. Just put the peeled garlic in the slicing hopper, and close the handle. You will have six perfectly and uniformly sliced pieces of garlic. Cleanup is a breeze with the handy cleaning tool. One end cleans the slicing hopper and blades, and the other end cleans the crushing hopper. Best of all, the cleaning tool stores snugly in the handle of the press, so there will be no hunting to find it in the gadget drawer when it is needed. This garlic press and slicer is well worth the money. You won't be disappointed."
