"I agree if you have long nails this is hard to work with, but I have been practicing with it and I feel I can use it better now. Just wish maybe a different design so your finger tips or nails would have a well area to place in instead of on the food."

Doesn't work well

"Not a big fan of this either. The guard stops you from being able to move the food along and it also wasn't designed for those of us who have nails of any kind. Better to practice keeping your fingers curled under."
