After watching most TV chefs use this gadget I finally broke down and purchased one. Best investment I have made so far this year. Much easier to use than anticipated, and easy to clean. Potatoes come out as smooth as silk. Great product.

It mashes potatoes quicker and much better than a mixer or masher ever could. I am looking forward to using it this summer for some of my garden items.

This a a great purchase. The mash potatoes are so light and fluffy. I put carrots in my ricer for my granddaughters and they loved it. It's so easy to use, run hot water immediately after use and it cleans really well. I'm going to use my ricer when I make soup. I like a little of the vegetables to be mashed to thicken the soup.

The box was previously opened, actually torn. Also on the box was a label put on with hand written code numbers used in a returned package. There were scratches on rubberized handle grip and scratches on product itself.
I returned used ricer for a brand new one and will look forward to writing a review on the brand new product.

Results from using this product are great but it takes a lot more hand and arm strength that I thought it would.
The handles have edges that hurt my hands so I wear hot pad mitts to use it. Knowing these things I would still buy another one.

I had an old potato ricer that was aluminum. What a pleasure to finally have one that is stainless steel & dishwasher safe. I'ts also nice not to have to add discs with different size holes.
This product is a lot easier to use.
Thanks Chef's.

We used this equipment to make garlic mashed potatoes, or should i say garlic riced potatoes. the consistency was better than when they are mashed using the typical masher. Would use this to prepare other vegetables.

Potatoes turned out nice and fluffy. Then my sister-in-law proceeded to mash them. Really? My wife found the ricer to be easy to use and really liked it.

I purchased this ricer to prepare potatoes for making lefse. With warm potatoes in hand, I started ricing, or trying to rice the spuds. The design allowed me little leverage. But I perservered … until the handle bent so much it couldn't be used any longer. This took 5 minutes. I'm 59 years old, slight and not very strong, so do not believe it was my strength. I am very disappointed after spending this much money on a kitchen tool.

I have used this ricer 2 times. Both times , the potatoes were so fluffy and light. The mixer causes the potatoes to be heavy and if over done, sticky. The flavor is just not the same. This product is easy .Just drop in the cooked potato and squeeze the handles together. Before you know it ,the bowl is full of potatoes ready to be seasoned.Love it!

I am quite strong, but this implement was too much for me. If you're only using one potato, it may be fine, but if you have a big bowl you are in trouble. By the time you finish the potatoes will all be cold. Makes a very fine strand of what actually goes through the holes, but it clogs up so I had to stop and scrape constantly. I was so hopeful this would be great, but it was awful and I returned it.

Love this product! Found that the Ricer is easy to use and easy to clean. Takes up little space in storage. Sometimes the low-tech things work better than the expensive, complicated gadgets, this is the case with this Ricer.
It made perfect mashed potatoes. Would be perfect for making baby food.
