It mashes potatoes quicker and much better than a mixer or masher ever could. I am looking forward to using it this summer for some of my garden items.

This a a great purchase. The mash potatoes are so light and fluffy. I put carrots in my ricer for my granddaughters and they loved it. It's so easy to use, run hot water immediately after use and it cleans really well. I'm going to use my ricer when I make soup. I like a little of the vegetables to be mashed to thicken the soup.
Pros: easy to use

never had a potato ricer before and I'm very impressed.
My wife always used the old curricula S with handle to mash the potatoes. We always had lumps in our potatoes and just didn't think any thing of it. Now with this new Ricer what a difference it has made. It also has a hang up ring that is nice.
In the kitchen, I'm never without: a garlic press

Most gadgets sit in a draw........waiting, waiting, never to find a great use. This ricer is very easy to use, and very easy to clean! It is easy to make great 'riced' potatoes and other vegetables. I had an old one with a flat bottom, I had a hard time getting enough pressure forcing the food thrugh the hole. This one is a breeze! Excellent design.

this Potato Ricer workes very easy if your potatos are fork tender, and only fill it half full. it workes ok when it is full but you will have to push a little harder. it is a good idea to rinse it after use

This makes delicious mashed potatoes very quickly. Poke a few holes in potato skin with a fork. Cook them in microwave with autio cook.
Cut in half, and put in ricer, cut side diown. Rice & discard skin.
Add melted butter & mix, then add hot cream, salt & pepper. There you have full body flavor.
Easy to clean. I am giving this for Chistmas.

Love this ricer, easy to use and clean. Well constructed and durable. My last ricer was inexpensive and it broke after only a few uses, this time I opted to buy a better ricer and this definitely fit the bill. My gnocchi came out wonderful and I enjoyed using this product. I strongly recommend it.

The difference between a regular potato masher and the ricer is like night and day. The end product is so much lighter and fluffier and the taste is much better due to the ease of incorporating the cream and butter into the potatoes.

A must-have for those who like mashed potatos

The potato ricer works extremely well. It's easy to use, and much faster than traditional potato mashers. There is a noticeable difference between potatoes processed with the ricer versus a masher. Potatoes are consistently smooth, and require less cream/liquid to reach the desired consistency. The design is somewhat clunky, and the ricer doesn't fit into any standard-sized kitchen drawers, but it's worth finding a place for it in the kitchen.
