These sink strainers are wonderful. These are very heavy weight and look great. They clean up nicely and can be put in the dishwasher. I'm planning on buying more for myself and my daughter too.

I really like this sink strainer. It fits perfectly in our double sink and it even looks good. I tried several different types of strainers that didn't let the water flow fast enough or didn't let all of the water drain because it sat up too high. This one is perfect and it's also very easy to clean and empty the food particles.

I used to have a mesh wire strainer from Home Depot. During our renovation, it got lost in the shuffle (probably thrown out). Found this product on Chef's. When it came it I knew I liked it (a lot) better because it is heavier and not a cheap feeling as the other one I had.

I've bought sink strainers for years. They have all allowed particles to go around the edges, because they were too lightweight. Didn't know any other kind was available. These from Chef are heavy and stay put. I will be ordering more, although these will probably last for many years.

This strainer has a perfectly smooth edge on the top and is nearly smooth on the bottom which allows the food particles to end up in the strainer cup where they belong rather than caught along the edges.
In the kitchen, I'm never without: . . . my three inch thick maple chopping block.
Favorite Brand: Too many to choose just one.

I've tried two other screen versions of this sort of strainer but this perforated type works the best---BUT the outside diameter has too thick of an edge causing it to drift off-center when used.
In the kitchen, I'm never without: sticky fingers
Pros: Easy to Clean/Wash, Functional/Useful
Cons: Quality, does not pilot properly

This sink drainer is exactly what I was looking for; flush enough with the drain so that food didn't go underneath. It is a good solid weight and the drain holes are big enough so that food doesn't get clogged. I had spent hours looking for this sink drain and couldn't find anything like it in stores.

This sink strainer really looks great in an area where you don't normailly look for greatness. It is very well made, strong shiney metal, and the wholes are big enough to let the water pass on thru while capturing food bits that would clog your sewer system.
You just have to keep the underneath side of the lip to the strainer clean. Sounds like something you don't want to do BUT It is so easy and cleans sprakling bright. Best product that I have ever found to do this dirty job. ! Cost a little more but worth it !

This is a great sink strainer and so much easier to keep clean than the mesh replaced. It is a little smaller than the sink opening but really dresses up the sink's appearance! The diameter of the strainer is 4 and 3/8"; my drain trim is 4 and 1/2". Knowing that dimension would have eased my mind about the fit when ordering. :)

a friend told me about these strainers and I am extremely happy with them, we have had problems with the ones we bought at our grocery store because food was always slipping under them and into our drain This is not the case with these strainers..they work great and trap all the food and debris!
