I purchased this set for my Daughter-in-law and she is so pleased with everything about it. The color is beautiful and she never thought I would buy her Le Creuset. I thought there was a perfect mix of each pan one would need. Very good value for as many pieces you get.

My husband purchased this set as a Christmas gift for me this year. I have used the frying pan and the deep cast iron pot so far. I love them!! They are very easy to clean and non-stick. I can't wait to use other items soon. What a great gift :)

Despite the fact that I'm not a hugely skillful cook, I've been coveting a set of this beautiful cookware for years. Sadly, it was well out of my price range, so I was stuck with hand-me-downs and cheap grocery store pots and pans. I finally found this set at Chef's Catalogs great prices and I I took the plunge. It's the perfect starter for someone trying to spend more time cooking and get away from nasty Teflon pots, but who doesn't necessarily need one of every size of French oven, and all the other fancy possibilities (not that I wouldn't love to have them). With these in my cabinets and my Wusthof knives in my knife block, I'm eager to get cooking!

If you have been considering Le Creuset but were a little put off by the price, trust me its worth every penny. This is bar none the best cookware ever. Chefs catalog had the best price and my order arrived days before I really expected it. No complaints at all. I will be ordering more pieces as the budget allows.

This is some amazing cookware! I would advise any purchaser to carefully read the instructions on how to care for the cookware & which temperatures to use (these don't require extensive heating like normal pots & pans). It's pricy, but totally worth it. It can be heavy, so if you're not strong enough to lift cast-iron, you may want to reconsider. I liken using Le Creuset to being a PC user converting to Mac...there's an adjustment period where you're "re-learning" a new (and MUCH better) system.
If you're looking to step up your culinary skills, this is the stuff to buy! Le Creuset can help make you become a great cook!

I'm very happy with this set. I bought in Caribbean which goes with everything that I have that is tropical-themed. It cleans easily. All pieces, except one, though are REALLY heavy. Of course, that's the idea but I guess I'd really not even thought about how heavy it really would be.
I'm still struggling with the skillet (s) though. I start out with olive oil, at minimal - medium heat, and I still have issues with sticking. (Any ideas, anyone?)
I'm so pleased I just now ordered two of the rectangular baking dishes that compliment, as well. I also bought a few of the silicone spoon/spatulas and have ordered the silicone whisk as well, so I don't scratch these.

I purchased Le Creuset cast iron cookware..Boy am I ever glad I did....I looked site afete site for a good quality cast-iron goodware,then I ran across these..True I had never heard of the company but I ran the name across several friend who had, so I decided t give it a try.. Took a bit longer to get the specified color, but well worth it. Cooks beautifully, looks beautiful, and decorates my kitchen colorfully. I'm looking forward to adding additional pieces and showing them off for friends and family.

This set has all the basics that you need to start your Le Creuset set. The Caribbean Blue is pretty. I purchased it for a gift. If I were getting it for myself I would probably get the Cobalt. It's a little more timeless.
