French Carbon Steel Fry Pan : Wide surface and
sloping sides evaporate steam quickly for superb
caramelization and crisping. The arched French-style
handle will not slip from greasy hands. A superior steel
fry pan like this gets better with use. The blacker it
becomes the better it cooks.

De Buyer French Carbon Steel Fry Pan
October 19, 2007 Sharifrom Phoenix, AZ
"I bought the 14" pan last year when it first became available on this website and I'm in love with the pan! It was definitely one of the best purchases I've made. I love the size of the pan, I can cook my t-bones to perfection in this pan. The more I use it the darker the pan gets and it's completely non-stick now. I definitely recommend this pan to anyone who is looking for a good quality pan at a great price.
There is only one sort of downside, it's kind of heavy and I wish it went in the dishwasher, otherwise, I have nothing but great things to say about this pan."

"I got the 10" pan a few months ago and it's perfectly seasoned now, I use it more often than my 12" All-clad because it's just works better and a lot easier to clean."

SERIOUS cookware
November 15, 2007 bigdogfrom Bismarck, ND
"I bought the set, and they have gradually become my go to pans over my "good old cast iron." This is some tuff stuff. I swear that you could pound nails with these pans and then flip an omlete. It cleans up great as well. I like to clean them and then wipe them with a light oil and put them back on the warm burner for a short time to keep them seasoned. They're virtually non stick."

Great Pan!

"I love this pan! I too purchased the 14", and it is a bit hefty, but to me that translates to "maybe I'll actually have this one for awhile." :-) I plan to get the other sizes as well, and replace most of what I have now. Good stuff!"
