At first I was disappointed that the knives were finely serrated. I talked to customer service and they are great. Always call them if you have questions about anything.
I have continued to use the knives and I would not now give them up. They are really a wonderful value and can be used for all kinds of kitchen jobs!

We have owned these knives for 6 years and they are still like new. I have given these knives as gifts for family members and they are pleased as well. In todays market, things just aren't made as good as they use to be , but Henckels Gourmet Steak Knives, are made with pride, the way it use to be.

best knives I ever bought for a reasonable price. I love practical knives and I even put them in the dishwasher. they are really all purpose knives and cut everything I want: tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, mushrooms et.al.

I have used a set of these for years. They are a good compromise of quality & price. A great knife for the money and I used them daily for more than just steaks! These were purchased as a gift and were well received.

These knives are razor sharp and though I just got them and have not used on my filet mignon yet, I know there won't be a problem when I use them. They are also beautiful but light in weight. They actually are a little on the slim sized but again are very sharp!

Good but not quite what I wanted

I did not see any reference to the fact that these steak knives had serrated front ends. I wanted smooth blades and thought that since these had the double devil symble they would be just what I wanted.
However they work quite well and we will use them many times and not just for steaks!
I hope they are dishwasher safe because that is where we put them.

I needed a replacement set for some knives which were damaged in a garbage disposal mishap. These knives have a nice appearance and good balance.

These smallish knives brought back the joy of thick medium cooked steak . well balanced and verry sharp , they are keeping their edege, they are just as sharp as they were when we recived them 11 monts ago .
