I finally had it with the "cheap disposable griddles" and spent a little more for this one. If I had bought this one first it would have saved me money.
This works great, heats evenly and cleans up easy!!!
The non stick surface works wonderfully. I wasn't used to the "pebble" finish at first, but then found it to work so much better than the flat surfaces I was used to. The heat is very even across the whole surface as well. Pancakes cooked up the same no matter where on the griddle they were.
I love this giddle and will probably be buying one for a christmas present to give.

We purchased this Griddle based on Cook's magazine and what other customers had to say about this product. The even heat is nice. As the booklet states, it takes longer to cook on the right side, so start right to left. The clean up is easy. The back splash is a good idea but flimsey. Only problem that I had was with the 4' removeable cord. Poor quality, or just mine. Takes two hands and some force to plug the cord into the Griddle. Also, your add says made in USA. Then why doesn't it say so anywhere? Not even the box. Are we not proud? All and all this is a nice Griddle.

My husband bought this griddle for me for christmas because I told him that I wanted one so that I didn't have to make pancakes one at a time when I made breakfast. I absolutely love this griddle. I have used it at least 10 times since I got it on December 27th. I have made pancakes, eggs, and grilled cheese sandwiches on it. It is a lot faster to make breakfast for 8 people with this. I would definately recommend this product to my friends.

I previously owned the Presto Tilt'nDrain BigGriddle (until it slid off my counter one day, plastic flying everywhere, don't ask), and could not live more than a week or two without a griddle due to the kids' love of pancakes.
So I did a bit of research and determined I was ready for a change since my previous griddle was heating unevenly, and I was never completely happy with plastic handles, the tilt legs and storage since I store in vertically partitioned cabinets over my oven. I was a bit concerned that I might have to go back to something smaller, but I really enjoy making to batches and being done.
Then I found this griddle. Though the price was more than double, I always respect the reviews of others including Cook's, so decided that based on the amount of usage, it was worth a try.
Having used the product a couple times now, I can say it has a superor cooking surface (pancakes easily slide right off with no added spray or oil) and the surface is remarkably even for nice gently browned surface. No weird coil marks like the last one where pancakes where half brown and half tan. No big cool spots in the center.
I like the sturdy handles, and the griddle stores more easily for me above my oven (but do measure, it s LONG). I have not used the splash guard and may not since th focus is pancakes, but maybe if we branch out to bacon :-)
Cord is a bit longer which is helpful, and entire product is well made. I would highly recommend the BroilKing Professional Griddle.

I love this grill! It cooks great and unlike other reviewers I find the splash gard very helpful in keeping splatters off the counter and easy to attach without scraping the grill serface. The under side of grill is rough, however, it is not a problem. It is wonderful to be able to cook several different items at a time such as french toast, breakfast meat and eggs without needing to do in shifts. It could be a problem to store because of its size, however, I did find an empty shelf in my storage room where it fits perfectly. I highly recommend this grill.

Love this griddle! Simple, functional, amazing.
Lives up to its name "professional' griddle. It performed beautifully for sunday brunch. The bacon cooked perfectly and the pop up leg extensions, for the grease drip pan, is brilliant! My buttermilk pancakes were next and could not have turned out better; even, consistant, heat and an amazing amount of room. I would not change a thing about this appliance and it is my new favorite. Worth every penney.

i recieved the grill it shows a lot on the gill cooking but i coud only get 3 pancakes on at a time. was slow on cooking bacon, and could not get it crisp without burning parts of the bacon, the last one had did much better

I have wanted a new griddle for some time and decided on the BroilKing. It has a very even heating surface and is a cinch to clean up. I especially like the splash guard when making bacon or sausage. Definitely recommended for those looking for a quality griddle at a decent price.

When our griddle arrived, we immediately noticed that the finish was not consistent. Most of it had little bumps (the way it's supposed to be), but there were large areas that totally smooth. There were also scratches on the edges.
Sent back for an exchange over 2 weeks ago, and still have heard nothing from the company.

This is a great griddle. Followed the instructions and the pancakes were wonderful. The surface is nice and big so you can make a lot at the same time. Heat was evenly distributed....no cold or really hot spots, so all the food came out perfect!!! And most importantly, no sticking!!!! Great purchase that we will get lots of use over and over again. Worth the money!!

Very nice griddle,. Unfortunately we had to repair, actually correct incorrectly assembled metal piece where drip tray slides in and out. Quality control was not what it should be for this being made in USA.This was due to an assembler incorrectly assembling the item. Otherwise, we do love the griddle. Would recommended the overall quality of the griddle iteself!

I felt that the griddle did not brown pan cakes well.
I wrote BroilKing about it. They responded quickly and offered good suggestions to correct this.
Bingo! Problem solved. Great product that I highly
recommend to all. It cooked everything else very well. I use it for breakfast but will use it to keep items warm when entertaining.

The splash guard does not fit. The splash guard clips are a flimsy plastic. The temperature controller took much fussing with to get it to plug into the grill.
On the other hand the temp control is just as the instructions say; hotter on the left, cooler on the right .

We've only used it a few times, but so fat we like it. Great construction, cooks well, looks like it will last many years... And you can wash it in the dishwasher!

The only thing I've made so far is pancakes. I had given up making pancakes at home because it can be so time consuming in a nonstick pan or stovetop griddle. This griddle is so big, two batches and I'm done! The griddle heats up evenly, the surface produces beautiful brown pancakes and clean up is a breeze. I love this griddle!! Great recommendation from ATK!

I read the review on this product and was very impressed. I replaced my old Presto which probably cost $30 with a BroilKing that costs 3 times as much. The BroilKing exceeded my expectations. The ultra consistent heat cooks perfectly. My eggs are now not undercooked .or crispy around the edges.
Pancakes and hash-browns are a golden brown. I tend to purchase the higher end products like All Clad and Wusthof
and I believe that BroilKing is in that class.

This accessory to my kitchen will find multiple uses. Great at cooking breakfast, bacon no splatter since the grease drains (don't forget to lift the back legs for this) and even my 7 yr old loved flipping pancakes. I am looking forward to cook burgers on it and even more elaborate meals on it and using it as a warmer for dinner functions.
