Herb Mill : Chop fresh herbs quickly and neatly
without a knife and cutting board. Put herbs in the
large cup hopper of the mill, turn the handle, and the
herbs pass through the blades into the chamber below.
The clear base lets you keep an eye on the quantity
you've cut. Dishwasher-safe. Made in Germany.
1.25-cup capacity. 3 1/2"D x 6 3/4"H
This was a disappointment. The "blades" are just plastic arms and they don't chop the herbs very well, plus it was hard to put together. It didn't want to lock down after I inserted the "blade" part.

The whole thing is plastic, even the blades. And there is nothing with this device to hold the herbs down so they can be chopped by the thick plastic blades.
Cons: Construction, Quality, blades are plastic

Poor results

I was looking forward to receiving the herb mill to try and avoid hand chopping of parsley and other herbs. I was greatly disappointed with the poor results. Plastic blades just don't do the job. Instead of chopping the blades shredded the parsley. Of dozens of products purchased from Chefs, this is the first one ever that I am returning.

I like to grow my own herbs. More time has been spent in standing and chopping my herbs than the time it takes to make the dish. The consistency was always irregular: tiny bits, large pieces, whole leaves. It took forever! Now, I just put the herbs in the top of the mill, turn the handle until I have the proper amount in the bottom of the mill, remove the bottom lid and wala, perfectly chopped leaves. In no time I'm ready to finish cooking my meal. No mess, no bother, easy clean-up..
Pros: Easy to Clean/Wash, Value for Money, quality, Material, easy to use, construction, size, Appearance/ Design /Style, Performs Well, easy to store, durability, Functional/Useful, Long-lasting, capacity

I recently started growning my own herbs.I love fresh herbs but I found it cumbersome to manually chop them. I started looking for an easier way to perform this task. I found the CHEFS Herb Grinder on the internet and decided to purchase it. I started using it and found the product to perform exactly like I wanted it to perform. Not only is the grinder easy to use but it is easy to clean up. The grinder is now one of the kitchen utinsels that I have on hand at all time.

Made of plastic, won't cut a thing. It was a gift for someone. Needless to say, I am returning it. Description didn't say the blades were made of plastic.
Cons: Construction, Not as described, Performance, Quality
I purchased this product for herbs but it is only for parsley. I didn't try it, but it had plastic blades that didn't look like it would cut very well. I didn't need another device to just cut parsley. so I returned it.

Cons: Expensive/ Price, Performance

Works just ad advertized. Will be a handy thing to have as I have a large herb bed and enjoy using fresh herbs when cooking.
Pros: Appearance/ Design /Style, capacity, Easy to Clean/Wash, easy to use, Performs Well
This was a major disappointment. First the product arrived with one of the cutting teeth broken and a second broke on first use. I did not think it was anywhere near the quality Chefs usually carries. Additionally I purchased it so my son could help me in the kitchen, however, the crank turning difficulty is dependent on how much is in the bowl, an I found I had to chop the herbs quite a bit before the handle could crank through with a child's ease. Needless to say, this is now in the garbage and I either cut small amounts or use the mini-food processor if we have a lot to chop.

This mill is fabulous. I take the bottom off and just mill herbs right over my veggies. Rosemary slips through every once in a while, but overall, this item encourages me to use fresh herbs more often.
