BIG
June 2, 2008 creativemediumfrom Colorado Springs
"This thing is bigger than I expected. It's massive. Fortunately, I do have room to store it in the kitchen because I use it frequently. It takes up a lot of counter space, so it's a good thing it's SO attractive. Unlike other, smaller units, I have cooked roasts lined with loads of vegetables on the side - with the greatest of ease. If you are serious about slow cooking, I recommend this fantastic product."

Great Addition to Any Kitchen
June 2, 2008 Effiefrom Tennessee
"I simply love this slow cooker and the fact that I can set it and go and it continues to keep the food warm after cooking. Beef Roast, chili, beans, corn beef and cabbage, sour kraut and pork, I've tried them all, and they turn out so tender and flavorful. If you want a good slow cooker this one is great!"

"I use my slow cooker a lot in the winter. It is easy and convenient. But when my slow cooker stopped working, and I looked for another to replace it, I truly needed something that was easy to use and easy to transport, and easy to clean. I found it in the Kitchenaid slow cooker. It is fabulous!"

Great Slow Cooker!
February 14, 2008 Karlafrom Lexington,KY
"I recently purchased this slow cooker after my old one no longer worked. And I absolutly love it! My old one was smaller and I was amazed at how much food you can add into this one. I also love the fact that you can set the timer, go off to work, and when it's done it will automatically keep the food warm, so when you get home, poof Dinner's Ready! and still warm! It's also very easy to keep clean and the recipes are endless, and can be found here on the website! I would highly suggest this to any familly member or friend!"

Love it, One change
February 5, 2008 yupperbikerfrom Upper Peninsula, Michigan
"I bought this a year ago. I absolutely love it. I have contacted Kitchen Aid with one recommendation, and would love if others who have it would also. When I make Corned Beef and Cabbage, and get ready to add all the veggies at the latter part of the cooking time. I find it difficult to get it all in and cover properly. I have made a recommendation to Kitchen Aid to make/produce a high rounded dome lid. We all know that items shrink and cook down during cooking. The higher oval lid would allow for this in certain type dishes like corned beef and cabbage where you add dry veggies to the top, then try to put the cover on. I think they are waiting for more responses on this. If you have tried this and would like the little bit extra room at the top with a higher domed lid.....please contact Kitchen aid and request it. Other than that. I absolutely love this 7 qt slow cooker. I also have an 18 qt cooker and love it, but it is not KA. Is Nesco. But for most meals.....this Kitchen aid is wonderful.."

Excellent Slow Cooker
January 4, 2008 Patriciafrom Huntington, WV
"My husband surprised me last year at Christmas with a gift of the KitchenAid Slow Cooker. When I had expressed interest in having a large Slow Cooker, he told me that I seldom used my old crock pot so we didn't need this. Wrong! We use it all the time, and everything I have prepared has turned out to be very tasty. Roasts are very tender; 16-bean soup and split pea soup are excellent. I love being able to cook in large quantities so that I can freeze meals and have them ready to microwave when we get home from work. This is a great product and one that I would recommend highly."

Really nice Slow Cooker!
October 20, 2007 TexasGalfrom Austin, TX
"This is a really nice Slow Cooker! The last cooker I had was about 20 yrs ago and they have surely come a long way since then. Very easy to use and easy to clean, turn it on and go! My only concern is I am not sure how long the silicone seal on the lid will last since you have to remove it to clean the lid each time. It goes back on pretty easily though. Hasn't been a problem so far. Cooks great and looks great on the counter!"

Easy and versatile
October 19, 2007 Cheetah23from Pleasant View, TN
"I had a crock pot for a long time and it finally bit the dust. It was small and did not have the ability for timed cooking. I was returning something when I came across this cooker and knew that this was what I wanted. Since my exchange, I have really enjoyed using the cooker. Soups are so easy. I don't have to worry about them on the cooktop (gas) for longs periods of time. It is very large, so it makes enough to store/freeze for later, which is a must in our family. I highly recommend this cooker to anyone who likes to make in bulk, or just have a big crowd over. It is heavy, but well worth it. I also like the fact that the cord stores underneath and out of the way, so you are not transporting the cooker around and tripping over the cord. Great buy."

KitchenAir Slow Cooker
October 19, 2007 Sweetiefrom Flat Rock, Michigan
"I originally ordered this from the web write up on this Kitchenaid product. Then, before I even received it, we coincidentally traveled to the town where they are made and I could see first hand what my product would be like. I love this slow cooker and have used it for ribs, chicken and a full pot of barbeque just last weekend. The temperature selections are great and my barbeque was kept at a safe temperature as expected. I highly recommend this unit."

Fantastic
October 19, 2007 Megiebabyfrom Texarkana, TX
"I LOVE this slow cooker!! I love the fact that it has 3 heat settings, well actually 4!!! High, Low, Auto and Keep Warm. I made a beef brisket and didn't have time to cook it on low, and didn't want to use high. Auto is 'medium", so it was perfect, , and so was my brisket!!!"

Best Slow Cooker I've Ever Used
October 19, 2007 Janiefrom Ware, MA
"The shape and size of the KitchenAid Slow Cooker is very accomodating of larger food products. I use mine frequently to slow cook turkey breast. My family just loves how moist it is! The slow cooker has a rugged built, yet very attractive to have out on a buffet. The markings on the interior to measure ingredients are very helpful. It is worry free because of all the settings. Nice and easy for the new bride or the seasoned cook."

Love This Cooker
October 9, 2007 GreatDanefrom Portland, OR
"This slow cooker is heavy and can be a bit cumbersome to clean but it cooks like a dream. I've done whole chickens accompanied by several kinds of vegetables all at once. Delicious! This is a huge slow cooker. Due to the constant temperature monitoring done by the cooker you can rest assured that the food is always at a safe temperature."
