Pepper pleases, salt disappoints

"I bought these to replace a set when I dropped my old salt shaker & broke it. I wanted something unique, which would last a lifetime so I chose the copper salt and pepper mills here. The pepper mill is beautiful, but ordering a salt mill without scratches/defects in the copper overlay has been a great disappointment. I sent back 2!!! salt mills because they both had black marks and lines showing through the copper overlay, which seems very thin. CHEFS was great as usual in processing the exchanges, but I wouldn't recommend the same aggravation for the salt mill to a friend. Functionally, they do work very well in grinding consistently. I like the rubber piece at the bottom to prevent slipping on the counter."
