Chicago Metallic Professional Perforated French Bread Pan : Formed with a curved base so longer lengths of dough can be laid horizontally, this traditional double-baguette pan is perforated to allow air circulation for deeper browning and a crispier crust. Made by an American commercial bakeware company according to professional specifications, this French bread pan is constructed of heavy-duty aluminized steel for outstanding heat conduction and a nonstick coating that is ten times tougher than ordinary nonstick formulations. Makes two 1-pound loaves. Dishwasher-safe.

I love this pan it's like getting two pans for one very reasonable price.
Well constructed, no more burnt bread bottom's and no sticking, great air circulation for a nice crust finish. The size fits nicely in my convection oven, so I don't have to heat my gas range.

These pans are the best. They have been hard to find. I am happy to see that Chefs Catalog is carrying them. They are light weigh, non-stick, and durable. The holes on the bottom allow for a nice crisp crust to develop. I own three of them and am contemplating another!

I am happy with the quality of the product, and the resulting bread I have made with it. The one problem is the height of the sides. Even a small baguette will rise over the sides. If the sides came up an inch higher, the product would be excellent.

The Chicago Metallic Professional Perforated French Bread Pan is outstanding. It is commercial grade. It is a quality item. It is well made and well designed. Long bread, such as French or Italian, will benefit from the unique way that this product allows the hot air inside of the oven to circulate around the dough. I haven't tried long rolls in it yet, but I am quite sure that they will be fine.

Saw the French baguette recipe on Chef's site, bought the pan to try it, and loved it. The bread was fantastic. The pans worked wonderfully to give the bread a crisp crust. The bread was easy to make.

Wow! Can't believe I waited so long to purchase this pan. I have truly been missing out. I use to try and make French Bread in a make shift pan because I didn't want to spend the extra money. This is the 3d perforated french bread pan we have owned. It is good looking and is the perfect size for long loaves or smaller loaves. My husband makes bread 2-3 times a week and he is very impressed.

I made the mistake of buying a cheap version which ruined my hard work. My first time with this beautiful Chicago Metallic pan and my bread "sang". Beautiful in appearance and delicious with just the right crust. Get the best and don't settle for copycats.

We have tried various schemes to get the round cross section like we have gotten in European bakeries. This bread pan provides this ideal with no difficulty and cleans easily. A no fuss solution. We even found an easy storage solution in our pantry by standing it on end and placing liter-sized bottles in the curved region.

I don't know if mine arrived bent but the bread flows out over the side then profing. I had to spread/bend mine out (to make it more like a "W") so that it would support the outside edge of the loaves. Bakes bread nicely though,

A Great Pan

This pan does everything the description says it will do. The shape of my french bread is much nicer. Baking my loaves and baggettes is easier and browning is much more even. I had a problem with over browning on the bottom of my loaves before the bread was done and this pan solved my problem. It is also great that I can bake my loaves side by side.
