The ULTIMATE performer ....SCANPAN Professional lives up to its claims. I own several pieces and am totally satisfied. It cooks beautifully, no fats (or with miniscule amounts) required and there is no cleanup. Wish I had these all along, as I have tossed so many inferior products in the past. If you purchase their small skillet, you will end up purchasing the entire line, as Scanpan truly delivers! This is premium quality. Did I mention it's also beautiful?!

I ate at a friens house in Chicago who used the pan and he raved about it.
Now that I have it I understand why.
The even heat cooking with it is amazing!

I was looking for a non-stick addition to my saute pans in this size range. I really appreciate that you can use a metal utensil with the pan even though I stick with plastic most of the time. The slant of the sides makes the pan simple to use to toss ingredients to get an even distribution. The ability to go from the cook-top to the oven is a real plus. But perhaps the best feature is how easily the pan cleans - nothing sticks to it! I will continue to expand my Scan Pan set. I would recommend that anyone starting their cookware collection start with a set of these excellent pans.

I have used some Scanpan Classic pans before and this was my first Professional pan purchase. There were two problems. The first was that the surface was not as non stick as the classic pans and the second was the pan arrived with a subtle dent that I didn't appreciate until after I'd recycled the the packaging material. The second problem was a quirk but the lack of the truly great nonstick surface was a huge disappointment. The styling is beautiful and the quality seems fine. The surface was why this pan was bought and it didn't 'pan out' for me.

I love my Scanpans! This new one is even better than my old ones. It is quick to heat, heats evenly, takes the high setting without hot spots, and cleans like a dream! The old ones occasionally failed, but the warranty was always fulfilled without question, and a new one sent to replace them. This Professional series promises to be the best yet. Highly recommended. I'm thinking of buying more to replace the old ones I still have, even though they're still OK. This is just that much better!

I have had Calphalon, Cuisinart, LeCruset, plus every cheap non-stick pan made. These are the best. And the lightest!!

This pan has it all - sufficient depth to match the width, easy-lift fore and aft metal handles that allow for oven use but also stay cool on the range top, and a very efficient domed metal lid. I cooked a few pot roasts in this pan and did not, after 3 hours, have to replenish the braising liquid. The radius of the dome and the tight seal kept it all in. Very easy cleanup, too.

Scan pan is the best non stick cookware I have ever bought after four months of usage. Omelets just slide out of the pan with proper oiling. Heat is evenly distributed throughout the panwhile cooking with a gas burner. Love them. Wish I had bought this line first. Le creuset is good but Scan pan is better.

This is my 4th Scanpan and I can't say enough good about it! It is as advertised, non-stick yet browns beautifully and clean up is a cinch. You can even cook crepes in it with no additional oil in the pan, without them sticking! We have even been "roasting" vegetables in it, stove top. And you can "finish" them in the oven if you like. Unlike the CTX model, the professional line continues to look good both inside and out. (my CTX fry pan is all stained on the outside, it's silver instead of black) This pan is worth every penny.

I've been the cook at our house for nearly thirty years. I've tried lots of non-stick cookware and some have been a pleasure to own. But . . . I'd have to say the Scanpans I have out perform and out last all my other pans, and are my favorite pans to cook with.

I bought my first Scanpan about a month ago. I couldn't wait
to get after I read all the great reviews. I bought the 12 inch
saute pan first to try it out. WOW, I was really impressed by
the way this pan cooked. I was also happy with the ease of

I bought this Scanpan saute pan about two years ago upon the recommendation of a clerk in our local Chef's store. I was tired of never being able to throw a pan in the dishwasher. These pans cook superbly, seem to spread heat very evenly, have an excellent non-stick surface that doesn't necessarily require non-stick utinsels be used with them (although I never use metal) are a really nice weight, and... can go in the dishwasher! I've since converted most of my cookware over to Scanpan. Color me happy!

Always wanted a good nonstick pan; this is it! Would be 5 stars but haven't had it long enough. This is a well made pan, not junk you buy and throw away in 6 months.
