Can't beat this great pan!

It just doesn't get any better than this 12-inch non-stick multi-clad stainless skillet from Cuisinart. It is a great size with lots of room on the flat cooking surface. The upper rim of the pan is a full and generous 12 inches across. I measured the actual cooking surface as 10 3/4 inches diameter across the bottom, much more than most of the other 12-inch skillets have to offer. The low, sloping sides make it easy to get a spatula or turner under your food to lift or turn it over. The 12-inch skillet also has a helper handle--that is, a loop-style handle across from the long handle to make it easy to lift and move this large skillet. The long handle is a bit more flat and broad than many competitors' skillets so it makes it easier to hold with one hand when you have to turn it to drain off hot liquids. The non-stick surface works great to prevent sticky or delicate foods from sticking to it. Yet it browns foods beautifully. Clean up is a breeze. The multi-clad construction of the pan is also a plus with a layer of heat-conducting aluminum sandwiched between layers of stainless steel to conduct heat evenly all across the bottom of the pan. It is sturdy professional grade cookware that won't warp from high heat. It's metal handles makes it safe to put into the oven to finish cooking foods. The long handle stays cool to the touch when the pan is used on the stove top. The loop helper handle may become a bit warm. But both handles will become hot if the pan is put into the oven. That's just a given for this type of cookware. My old hard-anodized aluminum non-stick pan used to take forever to heat up. I find this Cuisinart Multi-clad pan heats more quickly and responsively with no hot spots. It cooks like a dream. I recommend hand-washing this pan because of the non-stick surface. Trust me, it's quick and easy and it will reward you with many years of service. I highly recommend this cookware.

I had gotten in the habit of buying cheap teflon skillets that would only last 6 months or so and then need replacing. Then I received this skillet as a gift about 2 years ago.
This is a nice skillet -- built to last. It is showing no wear after 2 years. I have bought two other sizes since I recieved the gift. I'm very pleased with it's performance.

I love my Cuisinart Skillet! It is exactly what I was looking for. I needed a solid, even-heat distributed pan with a bottom that would not warp to use on my new flat-burner stove. The Nonstick feature makes it a breeze to clean.

Had these before so I knew what I was buying. The pan is such high quality that it lasts much longer than the lining loses its non-stickness/scratches so I'm trying the green one side by side.
Pros: Stay-cool handle, easy to use, even cooking, Heat distribution, construction, size, Performs Well, Easy to Clean/Wash, Value for Money, quality, Heat retention, Functional/Useful
Cons: Scratches Easily, loses nonstickness

Poor choice

For a 12" skillet, this one is very shallow and not very useful unless you are looking for a large saute pan. More depth was expected for a pan of this diameter. Disappointing.

Heavier cladding is a big improvement over others

Heavy clad bottom allows cooking at lower heat to get the same result as in lesser pans. Also allows for better and more consistent heat retention. Non-stick surface is plenty slippery and, so far, is wearing well. More expnsive than some others but worth it for the superior performance.
Pros: Easy to Clean/Wash, quality, even cooking, Heat distribution, construction, Appearance/ Design /Style, Heat retention, non-stick, Performs Well, durability, Weight, capacity

This pan performed well, the non-stick surfact does what it's supposed to do. Otherwise, there isn't much to be said about a frying pan.

Nice, but not for the long haul

I bought two of these pans, and initially would have given them 5 stars. However the durability / quality of these pans after a few months of use is quite poor.
The non-stick coating along the rims of both pans started to blister and peel just like a bad sunburn might. I took care of these pans, never using anything other than silicone utensils and hand washed, and it made no difference. I will not buy these pans again.
Pros: Appearance/ Design /Style, Functional/Useful, Heat distribution
Cons: Quality, not durable

I finally have the Nonstick skillet that lives up to all my expectations and then some. After buying others over the years, they never worked. This Skillet works beyond what I expected. It warms evenly from the inside out and either fries or cooks perfectly and faster. I would never cook with out it.

I have a Cuisinart skillet that I got years ago and I couldn't remember where I got it. I just know that it is my go-to skillet. My others were in need of replacement, so I searched for another just like my favorite. This was after I spent less on other skillets that just didn't last. Yes, these are expensive, but I plan on having them for years to come--that makes them a good investment! They cook evenly and the clean up is a breeze. Love, love, love them!!

I have many pieces of Cuisinart MultiClad Pro and have never been disappointed. They are a great value and deliver superior results. This review includes my newest piece, the nonstick skillet. It performs exactly as described. I have had no problems with it and regularly wash it in the dishwasher. It still looks as good as the day that it came out of the box. Its value far exceeds the purchase price! Enjoy!

Good Bang for your Buck

I usually don't spend this much money on a non-stick pan but when I picked this one up I thought I would take a chance and I'm so glad I did. The difference between this pan and the $25 pan is amazing. It wears great, is long lasting and whatever I cook in it reminds me of what a great purchase I made. It is a good bang for your buck!
