This was just what I was looking for, and at a great price! I have a large version and a pot by Cuisanart, and this matches perfectly. Although expensive all at once, Chefs made it possible to add on to my collection when my budget allows. Next, another pot!

A solid performer

I am delighted with this pan and would recommend it to anyone. It is solid without being too heavy. I am especially impressed with how much I've had to adjust downwards the amount of flame needed to heat this up and then to saute or fry. I can also substantially reduce the amount of vegetable spray or other fats required to saute or fry.
I bought this to replace an inexpensive non-stick pan. While I have since also bought a small non-stick fry pan for omlettes, etc., this pan and the 10 inch-er that I also bought, have quickly become our 'go-to' pans for anything other than omlettes.
The last thing that needs to be said is that I am astonished at how easy it is to clean these pans. My esteemed wife is a stickler for our cookware to be spotless and these pans make it easy to comply. I look forward to replacing other old pans with Cuisinart pans, as well.

Great Cookware

The Cuisinart MultiClad Pro Fry Pan I purchase is great. I chose a 12" model to fry salmon cake, fish and potato cakes in larger quanties. The pan like the othe members of the Cusisinart line heat evenly. It has the extra handle for saftey. It is another great addtion to the kitchen where serious cooking is the intent. The lids from the 4.5 casserole pan or saute pan work on it as well if a lid is requred another bonus from having several pieces of the same size.
Pros: Easy to Clean/Wash, Value for Money, Stay-cool handle, quality, Warranty, easy to use, True to Color, even cooking, Heat distribution, multi-purpose, size, Tight-fitting lid, Appearance/ Design /Style, Heat retention, Performs Well, easy to store, durability, Functional/Useful, Long-lasting, Weight, capacity

I purchased this pan as a wedding gift and am extremely happy with the quality and size of the pan. It has a wonderful feel and weight to it and I know the multi clad specifications should be wonderful to cook with and since I know the bride-to-be loves to cook, I know she will love this pan.

After all these years of buying inexpensive skillets and then replacing them with more cheap skillets after a few month's use, I've got one that will be with me for the rest of my years! No hot spots to worry about and no warping after the first time it was heated up. And it was on sale!
Pros: Easy to Clean/Wash, quality, Warranty, easy to use, even cooking, Heat distribution, construction, Heat retention, Appearance/ Design /Style, Performs Well, durability, Long-lasting, Weight, capacity, makes me cook better!

This pan combines good looks and function at a reasonable price. Importantly the bottom and the sides are tri-ply constructed not just the bottom. This cookware is similar to All Cllad but with a nice price tag. I expect this pan to last my lifetime.

That's not saying much since all I've ever previously owned was the teflon coated stuff. I've only had it about a week and I wonder how I ever got along without it. It works perfectly and I love it. It's a bit of a splurge for my budget, but I wish I'd made it sooner.

The idea of an open design is good to a point. I suggest further work on the slope/angle of the sides of the pan considering different viscosity of the liquids in the pan. Light liquids if disturbed by mixing or moving the pan may tend to be expelled from the pan. Suggest for this pan size and purpose a change in the slope of sides (begin to curve inward) near the pan lip to better retain liquids.
In the kitchen, I'm never without: hot pad and adequate venting

We have a similar, but smaller pan that we really like. We wanted to get a larger pan, but could not find a pan with the mirror finish until I happened to see this in the Chef's catalog. This pan is also wonderful. It cooks wonderfully and is a breeze to clean.

You wouldn't want to count the number of non-stick fry pans I have been through. I no longer worry about eating the finish as it sloughs off while cooking. This pan is wonderful and I'll never go back to non-stick coatings! It made the most delicious scrambled eggs I have ever tasted. Thanks for the new toy!

I have waited a long time to purchase a good quality 12" multi-clad sklliet...and I am glad I purchased this one. I was going to purchase another more expensive brand, but went with this one. I am so glad I didn't spend the additional money. This skillet is great. It browns evenly, simmers sauces perfectly, creates great fond and cleans up excellent. It has a large cooking surface. I cooked up delicious chicken Marsala last night. The chicken browned nicely, as did the mushrooms and the sauce simmered perfectly. The pan is also beautiful.

I had a Cusinart multi clad pan but needed another small pan. I thought this was the same one, but the bottom is smooth, it does not have the extra layer. When cooking even on med low everything seems to stick. You do have to soak it before cleaning. I will need to find the match to the pan I have somehow. But this will do for now.

I loved this pan-I had no trouble at all with anything sticking to the pan, including the orange sauce, the red wine sauce, the seared scallops OR the piece of salmon I cooked-
The sauce poured out very easily, but I do wish this pan was slightly deeper (maybe 1/2 inch)
I am thinking of getting rid of my non stick pans because this one is great-I will get them ion all sizes (I started with the 10 inch one)
Very easy to clean!!!!

This is a great pan. Works well on my induction cooktop. Retains and distributes heat well. Generous cooking surface with nicely sloped sides. This pan is superior to much more expensive skillets I have owned. Will look for more in this line which is a great value for the price.
