Excellent sauce pan. This 3 qt pan is beautiful, but most importantly it cooks beautifully. Weather you're cooking over a higher heat like a caramel sauce or barely simmering rice this pan does a great job. It heats evenly and has the perfect capacity. It cleans up very nicely...which is also very important. For me, it is a great value for the price.
Pros: even cooking, capacity, Easy to Clean/Wash, Tight-fitting lid, Appearance/ Design /Style

So far I am pleased beyond my expectations with the Cuisinart cookware. It heats quickly on medium heat and retains the heat after the stove is turned off. It is at least equal to more expensive multi-clad cookware.

Purchased the set last year but it didn't come with a 2 qt sauce pan. Bought a lesser quality pan from a local store but it didn't work out. Finally purchased this pan and it was exactly what I needed. I'm happy now.

I love this little pan for sauces and soup. It's heavy-bottomed so ingredients never scorch the bottom of the pan. It couldn't be easier to wash; just wait until the pan cools, then wash. Even if you have a large family, this is a great little pan for sauces. I prefer a very good quality, heavy-bottom saucepan for sauces than a non-stick one.
In the kitchen, I'm never without: Very good quality cookware and excellent knives!
Favorite Brand: I have several of brands of cookware: Cuisinart saucepans, All-Clad skillets, and Le Creuset round & oval pots for stew, a large 12.5 qt. heavy aluminum soup pot, Chicago Metallic bakeware, and Wustof knives.
Pros: easy to use, even cooking, Heat distribution, multi-purpose, construction, size, Performs Well, durability, capacity, Easy to Clean/Wash, quality, Material, Heat retention, Appearance/ Design /Style, easy to store, Functional/Useful, Long-lasting, Weight

I have ordered several of these saucepans and loved them! However, this one seemed to be flaking on the bottom inside. I returned it and have not yet received the replacement,. One good (OK-- GREAT) thing about Chefs is that they pay the returns!
In the kitchen, I'm never without: A wooden handled spatula.

I bought this pan because it was the same shape and size as a very old pan I had which lost its handle. This one is far superior in many ways, including the fact that it is induction compatible. I just love it, and the price can't be beat!

I love this little pan. I haven't had it long enough to address durability issues but I've been happy with everything I've used it for. The handle is really comfortable for holding and pouring and the lid fits with a good seal. I'm happy with this purchase!

I bought these sauce pans after reading the reviews, and I'm pleased with the purchase. The pots heat quickly and evenly, and are a breeze to clean. The price on the set was excellent. I do wish a smaller 1 quart size was available.

This is a very good pan at one-third the price of the classic competition. It cooks a little faster than most similar pans, so you need to use a slightly lower flame to have the same result. My only criticism: a helper handle would help a lot; this pan, when full, is very heavy to lift with one hand, and the handle is not long enough to use two hands.
