"I have the whole set of Copper-Core and I absolutely love it. I also have one stainless fry-pan. This is the best cookware I've ever used. When I first started cooking, I purchased a very nice set of non-stick, but as I became more experienced, I moved onto the stainless steel. I bought the copper-core about a year ago, and cooking is such a joy. I plan on completing my collection with every piece of copper-core that is available. I also have the fondue pot, the deluxe slow cooker and I'm getting the electric skillet for Christmas. I only wish I could still purchase the other electric they had available last year - I believe it was the roaster. I also have the large roasting pan. Cooking is now therapy for me. I don't even dread cleaning them - what dishsoap doesn't take off, Bar Keeper's Friend does. I only wish that I had a pot rack to show them off! I would recommend all-clad, especially the copper-core, for anyone who enjoys cooking. It's well worth the investment."

Copper Core is the Greatest Set we have EVER Used

"My better half bought the Copper Core All Clad set and we are extremely happy she did. There is one caution with them that is important. Start out with the heat on your gas stove lower than you anticipate that it might need. Why? The copper cores heat up very quickly and with the combination of the copper core and the stainless steel holding the heat, you will find that it is easier to turn the heat up just a little because over-heating does not allow the pot to cool down as quickly as you might expect from other makes and models. This is especially true when caramelizing an ingredient. You all know it can be ruined in mere seconds, right? It’s also true when searing a fish like Ahi tuna. A few seconds at the higher temperature and you have a leather-like outer portion. Seriously, do not use the coper core on an electric stove top if you want to really get these pots and pans very hot. Electric tops can get way too hot and warp them. So if you do, be careful at higher temps and settings. You will also be surprised how quickly water can boil. If you are steaming or blanching vegetables, they are superior as you don’t boil away the nutrients with them. Yes, they cost a little more, however they are worth it with the ease of cooking, clean-up is actually a breeze. Just put a little water in the pot as soon as you take the food out and let it sit during the meal. Afterwards, clean up with the All Clad Stainless cleaner or Bar Keepers Friend is an absolute dream. We also recommend using wooden or silicone utensils as the stainless will show minor surface scratches which can eliminated with the stainless cleansers. However, why go through the extra effort? We gave a non-copper core set to our son for his wedding because they wanted that set. Now he wishes he had wanted the copper core set as he also does the clean-up. Either set is great, however we prefer the copper core set. Your kitchen does not get so hot during the food cooking process. You will be mildly surprised. We were."
