The best blender I've ever ownedMarch 17, 2010 Anonymousfrom Clarksville, TN
Pros: Appearance/ Design /Style, capacity, Functional/Useful, Low noise, Performs Well, quality, size, Value for Money
"My previous blender was so loud that the tv had to be paused while it was running three rooms away. I have never paid this much for a blender before, but it is definitely worth every penny of the cost. It is quiet, blends quickly, and produces smoothies that are delicious regardless of the ingredients used. I am looking forward to using it for everything that I need to blend quickly and well."

Finally The Right BlenderJune 26, 2009 Anonymousfrom Salyer, CA
Pros: easy to use, Functional/Useful, Low noise, Performs Well, size Cons: base attachment to jar
"Finally a blender that really will make a Smoothie & Frozen Ice blended Drink, with the Ice truly Smooth and Silky. 1 cup Frozen Strawberries + 1 Banana + 2 cup Ice Cubes + 2 Scoops Dry Ice Cream Base + 1 shot Rum = A Smoothy; as Thick & Smooth as soft serve Ice Cream. Only I don't like the Base Attachment to the Jar, because of the Ridges in it makes it hard to clean and the movable clips, I forsee, might break."

ok blenderDecember 2, 2007 lori711from tavernier florida
"I bought this blender to make daily shakes for my husband. The one they sent me had a burning smell when I used it and it was not very quiet. Chefs exchanged it for me and the new one was better. The blender does not mix shake mix with milk very well unless I mix the powder to wet it before putting it in the blender. The powder shoots up and gets stuck on the side. Otherwise the noise level is better than my old blender but the mixing part is fair."

top notch performanceOctober 25, 2007 chefsupremefrom lakewood,wa
"I recently purchased this blender from Chefs catalog and am very pleased with the performance and quality. It is extremely quiet and makes great margaritas (compared to paying as much as $300.00 for a diferent machine!). It far surpasses the blender I had, and I now use it daily. Good for everyting from smoothies to chopping veggies! And the service from Chefs catalog was superb!!"

DisappointedOctober 19, 2007 Kitchenphobefrom Antioch, CA
"I have a relatively cheap Oster blender that has been whining about my daily smoothie. At 450 watts, I thought that the 1000 watts of power offered by this Krups would be perfect. Wrong. The first, and second and even the third time I tried it, it overloaded and shut off, requiring 30-45 seconds to recycle so that I could continue. Please understand... at no time did I put anything different in the blender than I had in the Oster (although I tried different sequences just to be sure), but it shut itself off EVERY TIME I used it. Thank goodness that Chefs Catalog is so liberal in its return policy! So, for the meantime, the Krups went back and the Oster returned to my counter top. All in all, I'm extremely disappointed."
