When I'm in the Kitchen, I become: Self-proclaimed Gourmet
I have been using automatic espresso machines for years. This is by far the easiest to use and the best quality espresso and cappuccino I have tasted. The automatic froth maker saves so much time and comes out perfect. It is like buying a fancy sports car with a V-8 instead of of a 6 cylinder; The extra cost is justified by the performance. The design is an accent to any kitchen. Accesability to fill water and cleanup is easy and in front of machine. I have not used the pre-ground option because frankly the espresso is so darn good.
In the kitchen, I'm never without: quality appliances
Pros: easy to use, capacity, Easy to Clean/Wash, Fast/ Speed, Appearance/ Design /Style, Functional/Useful

I cringed at the price when I made the purchase, but do not regret one penny. You can also use this for regular coffee eliminating the need of a 2nd coffee pot. The expresso is perfect and the cappuccino and latte features are truly one touch. It comes with a DVD to help orient you to usage. Uses beans or preground. A wonderful addition for a true coffee lover. No more Starbucks for me!

When we re did our kitchen we wanted to get a new coffee center... After much research we found the De longhi Magnifica. What a great product, every feature works perfectly and easily. It is a real treat to wake up in the morning and to be able to have that perfect cappuccino while the family is getting ready in the busy morning. The kids also love their hot chocolate and are able to make theirs with little assistance.
Not only is it easy to use but also is very easy to clean! I usually do not like appliances on my countertop, but this stylish machine can stay!
Thanks for a great machine! I think we have even made our money back on not having to go to those "other " coffe houses".

Our son purchased one and loves it, and we finally took the plunge, too. This machine is awesome! It's easy to program and is truly a one-touch wonder. It makes terrific espressos, lattes and cappucinos, cleans itself, and tells the user when something needs to be filled or emptied. It even warms your cups! You can set it to turn on before you wake up so that your cups are warm and the machine is ready to go when you MUST have that first cup in a hurry. So far I haven't figured out how to make it give me a back massage, but that's the only thing it doesn't do! It's pricey, but at the cost of a Starbucks, it will pay for itself in less than a year. Our son has had his several months, and has had no problems whatsoever. We love it!
