My husband and I are in the middle of buidliing an addition onto our existing house (new kitchen/great room), so currently we are kitchenless. This was one of those purchases that you go: duh! why didn't I get it earlier! Boils water fast, easy to use, sturdy (love the SS). PERFECT! In fact I will keep using the electric kettle even when the kitchen is finished!

This was another Christmas present for the house. We had a tea kettle/coffee pot on one base from Gevalia. I was so sad when the coffee pot part broke and we had to throw the whole thing out. I really missed having a tea kettle like that one. So after reading reviews I bought this one and I love it. We have a 5 and a 2 year old. I don't like to turn the stove on and walk away when heating water. This kettle is a great solution for that since it can sit further back on the counter! It's fast and since my husband and I are left handed, we appreciate the round base. I love the large capacity. When I make tea we usually use big mugs and It's nice to be able to heat at one time lots of water.

Electric kettles are used more over stove top type in England and I was happy to find one in the US that was inexpensive, works well, and looks good. I liked this kettle so much I've bought it twice for gifts!

I initially bought this item to use when entertaining, for tea service. But it has become indispensable in our household, and we use it all the time now. I not only use it for tea, which it is great for, but I use it for water for our french press for coffee in the morning, we use it for water to warm our baby's bottles throughout the day, and I even use it while cooking to free up a burner. One particularly handy use is while making risotto, I'll pour my broth into it to heat, and it keeps it warm and easy to pour in batches into the rice.
This was my staple holiday gift of choice this year. I think everyone should have one!

This is a great product. My first one that I had for years simply wore out. I alternate between tea and my own special mix of instant coffee so this pot for hot water is used all day long. After my first purchase for myself, I even gave one as a gift. Fantastic!

It heats 2 quarts of water in 8 min. That's faster than heating a pot of water on the burner. Exactly what I wanted. It looks nice too. Also I can hide most of the cord in the bottom of the stand.

When I initially bought this kettle I absolutely loved it. But now one to two years down the road it has started to leak. I expected a kettle for this price to last a good while. Certainly more than one to two years. I expect good quality for a good price. Are my expectations too high? Sigh. The leak is located at the bottom of the kettle where the lever switches the kettle on and off. When left with water in it, it causes a pool of water on the kitchen counter. Now I have to think about buying a new kettle which leaves me very disappointed.

Had one of these previously which died after 3 years of very hard everyday use (not a negative). No hesitation in purchasing another one.
New version is as good as expected with some positive design improvemements such as larger capacity and what appears to be a more robust electrical connection between kettle and base. No contact between water and heating element is huge as we have hard water in our area.

This kettle was bigger than I expected; too heavy, even without water in it. The stainless steel looked nice. If it wasn't so heavy, I would have kept it.

My sister and my daughter have this teakettle, so I purchased on their recommendations. It works great. Heats a full kettle to boiling in 7 minutes. Cleans easily. Water has no after taste. I would buy again, in fact, I am considering adding to my "stock" wedding gift list.

I purchased this kettle to replace one that finally quit after 17 years of daily use. I did not replace with the same brand as they did not have a style that fit in my kitchen. I love this kettle. It boils the water quickly albeit a bit louder than my other kettle. I really like that there are no gaps around the lid for steam to escape and possibly burn your hand as you pour. It is nice and compact and does not take up alot of space on the counter, plus the finish does not show fingerprints.

We've owned several electric cordless tea kettles previously. My wife and I have a 16 oz cup of tea at breakfast and also make two 16 oz glasses of decaf tea, which we chill for our lunch. This kettle is great especially since it boils the 2 Quarts needed at one time. We enjoyed your easy and prompt ordering and shipping. We would highly recommend your firm to our friends.

I had always used the old kettle to boil water on the stove
to make tea but I heard how much better the electrics were.
I absolutely love this kettle , in about 2- 3 minutes I have s pot of hot water that used to take me 15 minutes on the stove.
Reheating the pot to boiling takes maybe a minute and the auto shutoff feature is worth its weight in gold. I would highly recommend this pot to any one that is looking for an electric teapot

I love my Chef's Electric Kettle. I first used a similar kettle while traveling in Australia and found it perfect for french pressed coffee. As soon as I got home I got a Chef's Kettle and have used it every day for coffee, tea, anything that requires super hot water in seconds. It is the most used appliance on my counter.
