"I received this beautiful piece of technology from my wonderful children for Christmas. The attachments make blending, whisking and kneading effortless and efficient. I was somewhat surprised with the power generated by a 450-watt motor! With the 5 quart capacity bowl, there's no worry about splatter or spills. I can't wait to start ordering attachments that range from pasta rollers to sausage stuffers! The rainbow of colors to choose from is always a plus. Mine is a striking, cobalt blue -- a very majestic addition to the kitchen counter."

"My mom bought this for me for my birthday. I'd never used one before, so I was nervous. She told me to start with something easy, like boxed brownies, or icing. I started with an icing and was squeeling with baker's-glee when I saw how smooth it turned out. It was gorgeous and the texture was as smooth as silk. The true test came when my 15 year old son with special needs said he wanted to make brownies. He can barely boil water, let alone bake brownies, but I let him give it a whirl with the KitchenAid, and Voila!....easy as pie. He now makes us brownies all the time with the KitchenAid and this boosts his confidence. Buy this for yourself or a very special relative. Husbands, if you're reading this, you can't go wrong with this purchase."

"Unsurpassed power even on the stickiest bread doughs. This mixer didn't even get warm after nearly 10 hours of use making tamales! The attachments replace the need for many additional appliances-but they are pricey. Make sure you explore the additional warranty options available from KitchenAid-they are very affordable. By the way-my Mom has been using HER KitchenAid mixer for over 40 years now, and she wouldn't replace it for anything. I was hoping to get hers-but she told me to buy my own!"

"We received this as gift, but for a while I continued to use my old hand-held mixer. Finally, when making lots of batches of almond cookies, I decided to take this out and try it. Now I kick myself for not trying it right away. It mixes large amounts of dough effortlessly. And everything blends together, unlike when I used my hand-held mixer."

"If you enjoy cooking or baking this is something that you need to have. Not only is the quality of the mixer parts good but the attachments are well made too. I've have a KitchenAid for years and use it all the time. I have almost all of the attachments and use those as well.
The multiple speed settings and hands free are awesome! You waste less time in the kitchen. This makes it easier to make whipped cream and those other items that make you arm ache when holding a hand held mixer.
Even if you are looking just for a mixer this one can't be beat and best of all it comes in many colors to match your kitchen colors."

"This is by far the most useful tool in my kitchen. I use it for mixing, making dough, making pasta and use it in lieu of a food processor for many recipes. It is powerful, easy to use and easy to clean. I leave it on the counter because it is heavy to move and bulky to store, but it tucks in a corner and in black to match my decor, is beautiful enough for display. I couldn't live without it!"

"Before buying this Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer I did tons of research to see which model would fit all my needs. After careful consideration I felt this product was the one for me. I was right I love this mixer! I grew up with my mom owning a Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer, I believe she bought it about 30 years ago. My mom is still using it today and it has never required any maintenance. I can't say enough about Kitchen Aid's quality especially when it comes to Stand Mixers."

"I recieved my kitchenaid as a gift from my then fiance. At first I was a little intimidated by it because I was taught to do most things the old-fashioned way by hand. When I first tried making pasta dough with it. I couldn't believe how fast and easy it was! When I was completely convinced it was the way to go, I started buying the attatchment. I now own the pasta rollers and cutters, the grinder, (which I use to grind my meat and cheese for raviolis). I even have the sausage maker to make our own venison sausage. I love it. It saves time and makes every project "do-able". pmss"

"Because Kitchenaid is pricey, I've gone through several other brands of stand mixers already, all of which have broken down after a year or two of use...Finally I decided that with all the baking I do, I deserve one of these! Honestly, I don't know how I'd lived so long without one! It is THE BEST stand mixer I've ever seen, very sturdy, powerful, all metal-no plastics. The only regret I have is that I didn't purchase it 10 years ago!"

"I recieved this as an early wedding / christmas present. My In laws had some issues with the empire red, which is the color i had asked for!!! Anyhow, I absolutely love this machine!!! I cannot imagine making cookies or mashed potatoes or anything without it. It will get used a lot more when we move back to the states, as right now its not used as much as I would like, but thats just because of the power difference. :-) If you are looking for that perfect mixer I would totally buy this one again!!! Even thinking about ordering one for a couple for their wedding present!!! Plus I love all the accessories that go with it!!!"

"Until you have invested in this machine, you can't believe now dependant you will become. After my purchase, my mother AND sister Both purchased there own, and agree, they can't live without it. Baking, mixing, fresh pasta, grinding meats (my husband does for Thanksgiving stuffing) grading cheese, I could go on and on....I LOVE MY KITCHENAID MIXER, YOU WILL TOO! It is worth every penny."
