connoisseur of pasta, this Pasta Sheet Roller kneads and
works dough to create 6" wide pasta sheets. Eight
thickness settings let you enjoy the versatility of
preparing pasta from thick and thin spaghetti and egg
noodles to fettuccine and more. Simply feed dough
through the roller to create sheets of pasta, which can
be cut into lasagna noodles or ravioli squares, or fed
through a KitchenAid pasta cutter to make favorites

This is one of the few kitchen aid attachments that get used often in our kitchen.
The only downfall would be that the width is only 6" so have to roll out twice or extra long if your going to do a big project like raviolis or lasagna

Make sure you use the brush to dust away any extra dried pieces and not a knife....it will grab your knife and snap your attachments auger....lol sometimes you dont think when you have to get ready for service..

So simple to use........., Just attach to your Kitchen Aid mixer, set thickness, turn on, and place your dough in the machine and bingo you have perfect sheets ready for your Ravioli maker or the old fashion by hand method. If your goal is to achieve a perfect ravioli, I recomend you buy this wonderful attachment. I am 100% Sicilian and I know my ravioli.

One person making pasta can be difficult; handling the dough and rolling it at the same time. This item on the Kitchen Aid makes it much easier. It is a very well made item and works perfectly, great tool.

I LOVE MY PASTA SHEET ROLLER ATTACHMENT FOR MY KITCHENAID MIXER. I LOVE MAKING MY OWN PASTA, (IF YOU HAVE NEVER HAD HOMEMADE PASTA YOU ARE MISSING THE BEST PASTA YOU WILL EVER HAVE). I ALREADY OWNED A MANUAL PASTA MAKER THAT I USED IT ALL THE TIME. BUT NOW WITH MY SHEET ROLLER ATTACHED TO THE MIXER, I HAVE AN ELECTRIC PASTA MAKER AND IT TAKES ME HALF THE TIME TO MAKE MY PASTA AND BOTH HANDS ARE FREE TO WORK WITH THE PASTA. NOW MY HUSBAND DOESN'T WANT TO EAT STORE BOUGHT PASTA.

I felt very confident that this would be a quality attachment for my Kitchen Aid mixer, as I have seen it used numerous times on the TV show "Iron Chef". I wasn't that sure with my more limited kitchen skills, it would work for me as well.
My first attempt produced near perfect ravioli pasta. I am very pleased with this attachment, and highly recommend it.

I am a cake decorator and use it to roll fondant for decorations. I was using a hand cranked roller and everyone told me the electric was the best and they were so right! Just having both hands free to guide the fondant/pasta sheets makes all the difference in the world!! Wish I had purchased it a year ago!

This was my second purchase of a KitchenAid pasta sheet roller. The first one broke because I got a knife stuck between the rollers. Totally my fault. I have been using this tool for about 3 years now and when I had to go back to the hand rollers, I realized how much faster and better these work. I can't imagine makeing large amounts of pasta (which I do frequently) without the KitchenAid roller.

I was excited to get this attachment to help with a group effort to make homemade ravioli for the holidays. This attachment makes rolling out the dough a breeze!
I mixed the dough in the mixer, removed the bowl and then added the attachment, which was really easy. This attachment made kneading the dough unneccessary - I just folded and ran it thru on widest slot until the dough looked "right" then progressively thinned it out until it was correct.
One suggestion. Do not leave mixer on continuously thru this process or you could overheat the unit. I turned it off after each pass while I dusted flour on the dough and it worked out great!
I would recommend this to anyone that likes homemade pasta! Now I need to go check out the other pasta attachments!

Excellent pasta roller. Maintains a 6" band of exact thicknesses no matter how many sheets of pasta are rolled at a time. Some rollers "gunk" up and won't handle large batches...not this one! It is the best.

I have been using a hand cranked pasta roller to try to roll my gumpaste thin for cake decorating. I was having trouble keeping the gumpaste from bunching up as it was coming out of the roller, since I had to use one hand to crank it. This attachment to my Kitchen Aid frees up both hands and is high above the counter, which allows me to control the gumpaste as it slides through the machine with ease. I'm very pleased with my purchase. I only wish I had gotten much sooner!

Been totally pleased with this. I use it just about every day. I was going to get a hand-cranked one. However, since I already inherited a Kitchen-Aid mixer, this made total sense.
