"I've seen closets bigger than my kitchen, so with space at a premium, both counter and cabinet, I was delighted to find the CUISINART Power Blend Duet Model BFP-10.
The processor's cup size is ideal for a two person household. It chops onions, garlic...even slightly beats eggs for a breakfast scramble. Hey, I'm lazy.
Besides the run of the mill blender operations, the blender's short ,wider container makes it easier to retrive all blended ingredients for...custard type pies. Even pumpkin.
The CUISINART Power Blend Duet is my most used, can't live without small appliance."

"I purchased the Cuisinart PowerBlend Duet to serve the many guests I have frozen drinks. The blender function is top-notch and the food processor works very well and is easy to clean. This machine has replaced 3 others in my kitchen and looks fantastic with my stainless steel appliances!!! I'm planning on purchasing another for the lake house!"

"This is one of the best blenders I have ever used. I primarily use it to make mixed drinks and shakes and it is amazing. It quickly crushes ice and blends other ingredients for mixed drinks and shakes. The blender does an amazing job and making smooth and creamy drinks that are extremely THICK. One of the features I like the most about this blender is the mix feature. If you need to remix the drinks or ingredients you can press the mix feature and it will do it for you without blending it. Additionally, it has a large capacity. I also enjoy the fact that the blender has a glass pitcher, I find glass pitchers more durable and never retain flavors and scents of prior mixtures. I have not yet used the food processor feature, but judging by the quality of the blender I would assume that it works well."

"I got this duet blender and food processor for Christmas and I absolutely LOVE it. i had to make do before w/ a little 1-cup chopper from the supermarket and now i'll never have to again! I bake a LOT, so this makes my life so much easier! Pulverizing cookies in a flash, mixing pie crust, etc, it's just made my life so much easier. The blender is great for making mixed drinks and the ice is never in huge chunks like my previous blenders. And i love i only need one base for both appliances! Saves space in my limited kitchen."

"I bought this item based on the brand name which normally denotes a quality product that will last for years. Boy was that a mistake! I've had the unit less than a month and used it only to make smoothies and it has already stopped working! I didn't put ice in it, but I did add frozen fruit per the directions for the smoothies. I am extremely disappointed in the construction and quality of this item. I know others have had good results with their unit, but wanted any future purchasers to know that there are a few lemons in the lot. I'm trying to get it replaced under warranty currently and it's not a fun process. The housing is plastic, btw."

"I have been using mine for several months and it is the best blender / small food processor I have come across. It was a fantastic purchase and does everything I need to do in food preparation for my wife and I. It operates instantaneously on either the pulse or continuous mode; handles large and small jobs with ease and has power to spare. The food processor blades are terrific and work nicely with every ingredient I have used it for ffrom slicing to chopping. The Blender does wonders on tomatoes I puree for pasta sauce and marinara. I am sure it will please you totally."

"This is a must-have. The blender is terrific - very sturdy and durable. Makes great smoothies and blender drinks, as well as blending soups and other purees. The mini food processor is great for quick and simple tasks with easy clean up. I have the Cuisinart 14-cup processor, which I prefer for big jobs, but this is great for a quick, small task. Love it!"
