My husband and I have had this exact opener for several years and have enjoyed it tremendously! I overheard our daughter and her husband talking about how they needed a can opener like ours so I thought it would make a great Christmas gift. I cannot wait until I can give it to them.

This can opener is great. If you use tall cans they open with the ease of a short can. I have little strength in my hands so this is ideal, before I had to depend on some one else to open cans for me now I can do it myself again.

The first can to open was a tall can of Bush`s Baked Beans.
Just pressed down on the lever and let go. This opener runs hands free as advertised and shuts off when finished. The can remains attached to the opener until you lift the handle. This can opener runs very quiet and smooth leaving no sharp edges at all on the can. However it`s not so quiet that our cat can`t hear it open a can of Tuna.
So far so good......very satisfied; the best electric can opener we have had in 56 years of cooking.

I have been one of those people who have always used a manual can opener. I thought the electric ones were cumbersome and you couldnt clean it easy enough. Well, i bought the Cuisinart can opener and could not be happier. I LOVE THIS CAN OPENER!! It has a heavy base so it doesnt move around. When you put the can up and push the lever to start, IT STARTS RIGHT UP!! you dont have to hold the can, or keep pressing the lever. One of my favorite items in my kitchen. The brushed stainless exterior is easy to clean and the magnetic can holder pops right off to clean. Very stylish and high quality.

This can opener is very quiet. It looks great on my countertop and I have always had consistent results with my Cuisinart can opener. No more hand cranked can openers for me.It is very easy to use, I know because I have problems hold things with my hands and it takes very little effort to open a can.

As I used the Cuisinart SS can Opener for the first time I was amazed at how quiet it was compared to the old one of a different brand. My old one was noisy and finally came apart. The new Opener is very easy to operate. I have a little arthritis and it really has helped with food preparation.

I have had several different brands but they did not open many of the cans I had. This one does the job quickly and I really like the magnetic hold for the lid which makes it easy to handle. I have a friend whose can opener does not open lids well especially on her dog food and I recommended yours to her. It sure works for me. Great product with a great price tag.

I purchased the Cuisinart Can Opener because I have arthritis in my wrist and could no longer use the manual opener. I really love this product for its ease of use, quietness and does one heck of a job opening large cans. Glad I did got it.
