"This is a product that performs as advertised. Easy to set up and easy to use. Much better results than the attempts at growing herbs or plants on the kitchen windowsill.

Grow cycles are monitored and aside from the occassional plant trimming, pretty much maintenance free.

The one note I would have, is that it takes up a little counter-space, so you need to know where its going to go, and it will stay there a while! But, at the cost of fresh herbs today, this is well worth it. Would also make a great gift for the green-thumb or do it yourself-er on your list."

"I have enjoyed extensive training on outdoor gardening. But for fresh herbs right at hand I love this aerogarden! Space technology in the kitchen!! The herb kit offers a nice variety of common herbs and the plants tolerate frequent harvesting."

"The Aero Garden is a great machine! It came with excellent documentation. It is very easy to set up and maintain. After six weeks we were able to use the herbs. My daycare children have enjoyed watching the herbs grow from seed to plants in a matter of weeks. It is very functional and fun."

"Very easy to setup and use. My herbs are growing well after 2 weeks. The tiny basil leaves already smell good. I'm looking forward to harvesting soon.
The unit's grow lights are very bright, so be be prepared for extra brightness wherever you place it (esp. in the evenings). I have it in a small mudroom, so it's not a problem. I also really like that you can choose the timing of the grow lights to come on and off. It also seems to give off a slight ozone smell (not offense or bothersome), but that may be because it's new or because I have it in a very small enclosed space.
It's really fun to come home everyday to see the sprouts progress. A great idea to get kids interested in gardening and science, especially since you can grow so many things!"
