We were replacing a 15 year old slicer, wow we sure did need a new slicer, I make a lot of home made jerky and my old slicer would not even cut the meat. I got my new slicer the job has been cut in half. it slices so fast and even. after that I was slicing any thing I could fine just to use my new slicer. Love the way it cuts , love all the safty features.

When I received this slicer I couldn't wait to use it! I was immediately impressed with how well it is built, and could tell it was going to be a useful part of my kitchen for years to come. It only took a few minutes to clean so I could test it out. I sliced vegetables, cheese, and leftover roast beef for sandwiches. It cut through them all without slowing down even though the roast beef was partially frozen. I only wish my kitchen was larger so I could leave it on the counter all the time. It would also be nice if there was a storage drawer under the slicer for the accessories that came with it. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase, and now wonder why I waited so long to get it! Do not let the price deter you; it is well worth the price.

Powerful and quiet, this slicer can handle almost any food. Nice long travel food carriage. Difficult to clean and a lot of food gets lost behind the blade.

Just received it today. First thing it was in box upside down. Picture and arrows were opposite but it was well packed and appeared not to affect the slicer. After taking it apart to clean it for first use. Directions say all tools included to take apart but that is not the case. An allen wrench was the only tool in box and appeared to be an after thought place in the box as the box rattled when I opened it. Also required is a Phillips screwdriver. The food carriage sits on a plastic support pad (instead of lock washers) according to directions. Which appears will break after just a few cleanings. The carriage that holds the food tray appears to have been cast improperly and a drill was use to make the holes larger. I do like the safe way they have of taking the blade off to clean. But it takes about 15 minutes to take apart clean and put back together.
It also did a great job of slicing meat and onions
