Huge Disappointment February 26, 2008

"This is a very poorly designed utensil. The lid is not snug fitting at all. The lip on the lid should be deeper to keep the lid in place. The handles should be on the base with a good grip on the lid, or, to maintain the garlic shape, the base should have handles too. When I took this out of the oven the lid slipped off burning me and then melting part of a small kitchen carpet where it landed. I really expected much, much better from Le Creuset."
