I use a 14 inch pizza stone to bake my pizzas and was using a 12" peel. I finally found a peel that matches my pizza stone from Chefs Catalog.

We purchased the large peel and it's very large, durable, and the perfect sized handle for regular kitchen sizes. It hangs on the wall and out of the way when not in use. Make sure you sprinkle it with cornmeal or flour to help the dough slide off the peel.

The pizza peel is fantastic. I can now make my pizza on the peel and the pizza slides right off the peel and on to the stone. Easy way to get that crispy crust on the bottom of the pizza without having to handle the pie to much. The peel is the perfect size to work in a kitchen since it does not have a long handle but rather one designed for shorter work spaces.

I've been shopping for this product for quite a while, and when I find it in retail stores, the wood is either split, or is rough with splinters-neither of which is suitable to use when baking.
Chefs catalogue came through again with a perfect product, and I purchased both sizes for breads and pizzas. They are lightweight and easy to clean.
Along with my past purchases of All-Clad baking sheets and pizza stone, and Lodge Logic cast iron pizza pan, my set is now complete!

I love my pizza peel. It is a must for all pizza cooks to use. When you put the corn meal under the dough, it slides off the peel and when you take the hot pizza out of the oven, no need to burn youself because the peel does all the work. I highly recommend the peel to everyone, in fact I bought 3 for my friends and family and they can't live without it now. It is truly a wonderful product.

I had a smaller pizza peel, but it didn't work well for larger pizzas. This size is perfect for me. Plan to grill some pizzas and this will help tremendously!!!!

I have never used a peel. This was light weight, especially if you have arthritis. My pizza pie slipped off easily onto the stone. My first pie looked great. The taste, well............we are working on that! Thanks Chefs!

This pizza peel is appropriate for appetizer sized pizzas or for a child's pizza. The edges aren't very refined, but seems like it will work well enough for the relatively small pizzas that will be lifted.

I am very happy with this peel. It is finished smoothly and the edges are nice and tidy. Several past reviews talked about the edges being raggy. This one is not. It is nice and light and I'm very happy and have used it with my new stone.

...or a loaf of rustic bread! This is a great peel and compares favorable with peels costing lots more. I have used it and, after the initial hesitation oops (my first pizza fell on the floor), it worked perfectly since the pizza on the floor was more a matter of user technique. It is small enought to easily manage, but large enough for my largest pizza.

The mini Pizza Peel is ideal for transferring individual and medium-sized pizzas and other foods into a hot oven. I bake my own sourdough bread shaped into small round loaves and this peel fits the bill! Due to the fact that is lighter weight than larger bakers' peels, it is more maneuverable and user-friendly for arhritic hands.

I have always wanted to make pizza. I did my research and decided to buy a peel. I came across this one. It is large enough to make a very small pizza. It worked fine. The only thing is that the wood looks like it will crack soon. I found it comfortable to use. I won't submerge it in water as that may shorten its lifespan. For the price, it is an excellent choice.
