the BEST popcorn March 13, 2008
jarnopol from Chicago

"White Cat Corn is without a doubt, the best popcorn ever. Not for the microwave popcorn crowd, you pop this corn in oil over fire. Use a 4 qt pot, or one of those stove top poppers, add 3T oil - your choice, 1/3 C White Cat, and popcorn salt. Yes! add it BEFORE you pop for even distrtibution. Put the top on the pop, turn up the flame and when it starts popping, shake shake shake that pot. You won't be disappointed. and a 3 pound tin lasts a long time!
i'm taking advantage of the sale and ordering several."

Best Popcorn I've Ever Made! March 26, 2008
MikieLikesIt from Tucson, Arizona

"I never heard of White Cat Popcorn before seeing it on Chefs. I ordered 2 for my house and sent one to a friend.
I tried it the day it arrived and I have to say that I have not
had a better popcorn in my life. I forgot just how much better fresh popped is compared to the bags of popcorn and the microwave packets. I do know that the other popcorns I've done on the stove in the past cannot compare to this one.
I'm hooked on White Cat for my popcorn and a movie nights with the family. The entire family loved it and I will insist on White Cat popcorn from now on. If you try it, you'll be very pleased. It's Excellent! (The tins would make nice cannisters.)"

The best old-time popcorn March 20, 2008
javjmc from rye, ny

"It took my kids and me a few test runs before we remembered how to pop corn on the stove-top and boy was it worth it.
A great quality corn in a collector' tin.
Place 1/4 cup of vegetable oil and 1/4 cup of butter --if unsalted add a tablespoon of salt-in the bottom of a heavy pan. Add corn until every kernel is coated then add lid, add heat and wait until you hear the popping sound. Shake gently until the sound stops. Lift lid and enjoy.
Amazing! Any unpopped corn (not likely if you've done the above) can go from the pan to the squirrels and birds,
It's all good--really good."

This stuff ROCKS! March 20, 2008
Foodhound from San Marcos, Texas

"This is my first time to try White Cat Corn, and my entire family agrees that it's the best popcorn we've ever had. We use a Whirly-Pop popper on top of the stove - which is the ONLY way to cook popcorn in our view - and White Cat is perfect for it. It popped up bigger and more tender than other store brands, and is delicious. We'll definitely be back for more, and will recommend to all of our friends!"
