"I originally looked for these as a set because I had seen the garlic canister on a large on-line book-seller site.
Chef's had the entire set. Wow, when I put them on my counter tops, they looked and FUNCTIONed wonderfully. I was storing my garlic in a cereal bowl and the onions and potatoes on the floor of my pantry/closet.
This brought both function and beauty to my kitchen."

"These Canisters are big and beautiful not to mention very well made. They are thick and heavy so I don't have to worry about being too fragile with them. The canisters are very roomy and will easily fit 5 heads of garlic, I have 4 HUGE 5" -6" yellow onions in mine and I would guess the potato canister could fit a 5lb. bag of 'regular' sized russet or red potatoes. I am very happy with this purchase and I recommend it to anyone else looking to store these kitchen staples in their recommended environment."

"I received these as a gift after hinting for them - I have been wanting them for quite awhile! The thing I love most about them is that they make the pantry so much tidier without the half empty bags of potatoes, skin peeling off the onions, etc. They are certainly nice enough to leave out on your counters if you have the room. They definitely keep the produce fresher longer, so no throwing out food unnecessarily. They keep it in dark but well ventilated conditions, perfect!"

"The second I opened the box- I loved them. I love the look and feel of these canisters. The coloring is beautiful and the quality is very impressive. They are heavy and durable, exactly what I was looking for. These are nice enough to leave in the open on your counter. I have gotten lots of compliments.
