These felt protectors were just what I needed to protect my china from getting nicked and scratched. They are all the right sizes and easy to handle.

These are not expensive and certainly provide protection for china with decorative edges. The photo suggested to me that at least some of the protectors would be round, conforming to the shape of most plates, but they are square and the edges stick out, which makes them less attractive to use than the round ones we already have. In addition, they are (at least at this point) stiffer than the protectors we are used to and that makes a significant difference in the size of the stack when they are inserted. One could cut them into round shapes, but that will not provide a cushion that comes out to the edge of a normal size dinner plate. I bought these on sale, and the third star is a reflection of value. At the right price, these are a good find for storing plates and suacers in cupboards where they are out of sight.

I read the reviews and was very careful to read the specifications because I wanted the round felt protectors....SO I chose the grey color because it stated they would be round. The white indicated square.
What did I get? Grey, but square.
Not a happy camper
